Hey! We actually lived at Scott for a year and I loved it (but I'm originally from Chicago). I'd definitely say it's a great area to raise kids! Do you know where you will be living yet? We actually have a townhouse we rent out in a great little area, Swansea, 10 min everything, base, mall, etc. The company we are renting it through is Strano and I believe they have online listings of property. I also have a friend that lives on base right now, and she said there are lots of pluses and minuses with that. Feel free to MM me, I know I haven't given many specifics, but I don't have much time to type now, I just wanted to say you'll love it!

I'm PSCing to Scott in April and I was wondering if anyone's ever been there before. Is it a nice baby friendly area? I'm a single mom of a soon to be 6 mo. old boy so I'm a bit nervous about my first PSC with him. Any information any one could give about the area, things to do, the base and that sort of thing would be really appreciated.
