Hypnobirthing

I never went to a class but I used the CDs, they helped but my only trouble was I'd fall asleep EVERY single time I'd listen to them which they recommend you try not to. So it would relax me but it didn't relax me as much as I would have hoped while I was actually in labor.

No experience either but I got some hypnobirthing tapes to listen to and some scripts for DH so he can do them instead of me listening to the tapes.
I'm also taking a Bradley class to try to have as many different techniques as possible so I can choose what works best for me once I'm in labor.

No experience yet, but I am doing Hypnobabies home study course now. It was designed by a woman who was a Bradley and hypnobirthing instructor. She merged the two.

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has used the hypnobirthing method during previous pregnancies or are planning on using it. My doctor recommended taking a class but it is a little pricey. I was thinking of maybe just buying a book and possibly a CD to cut down on cost. Has anyone had any experience with this method? Any advice is helpful. Thanks!
