Good luck! I was able to make the transition from teacher/parent to parent when our third was coming along. It is REALLY hard work...and I'll be honest, some days I didn't get the "reward" that everyone was talking about...for me, I have to step back and look at the overall picture of things. It takes some adjusting to, but it really is worth it. Good luck and have fun!

What a blessing that you are able to stay home! You won't regret it...best and hardest job ever : ) Yet so rewarding. Kindergarten is great. My little boy is going into first grade and we thoroughly enjoyed K. Have a great night!

Hello everyone. I am currently 23 weeks along with my second child. My oldest is getting ready to enter Kindergarten. This will be the first time I have not returned to the classroom after summer break in 9 years. I am excited to get to stay home with our new little man and possibly more excited to get to be involved in my daughters Kindergarten year as a parent and not a teacher at a different school that never got to attend anything in the school day.
