I stopped working in the middle of my pregnancy, and had to make some adjustments.

One thing I did before ever getting pregnant was signing up for supplemental maternity insurance, but since you are already pregnant, this is advice for those who might be TTC. (The AFLAC payments along with my regular paycheck for two months after delivery were very helpful).

I was having twins, so I made sure that I would be successful with breastfeeding, which saved us A LOT of money!

Many times, it's just cheaper to stay home: you have time to prepare meals, you don't have the extra gas expense, you don't need to invest in new work clothes, sometimes you can even downgrade to just one vehicle.

Greetings all! Just found out that I am pregnant with my 2nd and will be due end of September. Currently I am a working mom and was fortunate enough in my first birth to have my mother in the area that gave me a caregiver I trusted.

This time around we will be transitioning me out of work when I deliver. Any moms out there that have gone through this? We're pretty even on the payscale so it's going to mean some pretty major lifestyle changes. Any tips or words of advice out there from those who have gone through this before?

Thanks!
