Good to know! My husbands cousin runs a daycare here in town, and she says she has a mommy who cloth diapers, and it is no big deal. But i have had such negative reactions from people... when I have mentioned it, that it does have me a little concerned about peoples attitude! I think most people would be on board if they gave it a chance!

My son is almost 2 and has been in daycare with cloth diapers since he was 12 weeks old. I use pocket diapers and have them prestuffed so all they have to do is treat it like a disposable except they put the dirty one in our wetbag. Once he started solids, we started using disposable liners so they could dump the poop in their diaper pail or flush it. The only problems we have had is sometimes he will leak if they wait too long to change him because the cloth doesn't have the absorbancy of disposables and also I've had to show new staff members how to snap up his Fuzzibunz the right way since they don't always seem to understand that there are snaps at both the waist and hips. Other than that, they've been great!

Has anyone had any issues with Babysitters or Childcare, and cloth diapers? I plan on leaving my Baby with the kids corner at our local YMCA, and wonder how they will react to cloth diapers. It will only be for little over an hour while I take my class and shower. I know several people at my church said I would have to buy disposables for leaving her in the nursery... which I think is ridiculous. I will be in the building.. and could come in and change her. But I think once they actually see it and do it, they won't think it is such a big deal. Have you had positive or negative experiances?
