Thanks for the info on the Moby. I always wondered about the stretchiness of the material really being trustworthy. One of my friends just got one for her shower and is really excited about it so I'll pass on the caution posted here.

I love my mei tais, and we also wrap with wovens (we're still learning, lol).

ETA: I don't know if you've heard anything about it, but Moby wraps are NOT recommended for back carries (except by Moby...), there have been several reported severe accidents, usually when kiddos flip backwards and right out of a carry. Even hip carries should be used sparingly and with caution in a stretchy wrap. I don't mean to preach, but there are some really scary stories out there. Moby still has the instructions on their site and there are still Youtube videos, but most people 'in the know' consider it extremely dangerous.

I used a mai-tai carrier to wear my son on my back (front and side) and it was very secure and comfortable. I started carrying him on my back as soon as he was holding his head up really good.

It is great to be here. I hope to learn more about baby wearing here. I enjoy using the moby wrap and the new native sling with my 3 month old. I also have the ergo which I like to use after about 4 months. I would like to have some ideas about how to wear my 3 month old on my back. I am excited to get some ideas.
