That is pretty high BP for you. The bottom number's still within the range, though. So, that's good. You are going to get so tired of doing kick counts. I hope that she's just ready to come, and she's being lazy for the big day-resting up while she can. They do tend to get on more of a NB schedule and move less right now, anyway.

Oh, and don't worry about the dilation thing-for some people it happens immediately, and for some (like the freak that I am) it happens over weeks and weeks and weeks of painful regular contractions and cramps.

My appt went okay. I am now 3.5cm and 75% effaced. My BP was 118/76, and my weight was a whopping 181lbs (from 122lbs-OMG!!). Aspen's an estimated 8lber, already, so induction was discussed. We decided to give him another week, given the status of my cervix. But next week, if he's still hanging out . . . he might be getting an eviction notice. LOL! Especially since the docs said that my fluid's starting to decrease and there's pretty much only baby in there, now.

Okay, just got home from my appointment; here's the run-down:

My BP was pretty high for me 138/78! He noted that, but didn't seem too concerned, just told me to relax, take some deep breaths, etc. I was sweating like a pig! He even commented on that, I literally had pit stains! Eww! He checked me, still totally closed, but low, he said her head was "right there". I guess that's good, I didn't feel like a total failure LOL I asked about the antibiotics and he said they like to start them about 4 hours before delivery. To which I asked, so they won't send me home if I'm only 3 cm? He laughed and said probably not, but don't stress about being sent home. Then we talked about movement and I told him she's seemed to have really slowed down. He asked me to be more specific and I told him I feel her in the am and before bed, not a lot throughout the day. He didn't love that answer and hooked me up for a NST for 30 mins. Everything ended up being alright though, her heartbeat was good and I felt a bit of movement during that time. He wants me to do kick counts throughout the day though until she's born. If I don't feel her moving around at least every 3 hours I have to call and go back in for more tests. I also told him about some pain I've been having at the top of my belly, near the top of my scar. It's been feeling like tearing or ripping (which my crazy preggo brain is thinking there's something wrong with the placenta or umbilical cord). He felt the area where I'm having the pain and said it's most likely some scar tissue pulling since the baby has dropped. Which totally makes sense, I just wish I thought of it instead of letting my neurosis take over! LOL So overall, I guess it was an okay appointment.. I had some bad contractions last night (literally brought me to my knees! the pain radiated around my lower back so bad! ouch!) but apparently they had no effect whatsoever! They were the worst I've felt by far, still manageable as long as I was on my knees leaning on the bed- I couldn't stand with the pain shooting down my legs! Que sera sera!

How was your appointment? Hope it was better than mine!

Amy-I worry about the antibiotics too. I am also GBS+. Yes, inductions are convenient. When I had the emergency induction with Vail, they sent me home prior to heading to the hospital so that I could take a shower, make arrangements for pets, and pack my bags before I met the doctors at the hospital. It was nice, actually. I am starting to lose my marbles, too. Doesn't seem like he's ever going to come. LOL!

With the tornado last August, it tore up our fence, and tore part of the roof-which hasn't been fixed all the way, yet. Insurance found a way to make it within the deductable, and DH wants to fix it himself. But you know what that means-it's taking FOREVER!! I want to just hire someone and get them out here, but DH insists.

Yeah, I'll have to let you know about the pain-with Vail it was constant. And right now, only when I am coughing up fluid, sneezing . . . almost like a hernia, but I know that it's not a hernia.

Took Vail out to play with bubbles, his ball, and sidewalk chalk, today. He had so much fun, that after lunch, when he was falling asleep for naptime, he kept saying "bubbles" in his sleep. LOL!

HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND!!

My appt is at 9:10 am on Monday. I'm sort of getting that "worry wort" feeling LOL For instance I'm GBS+ and rH- so I need antibiotics and a shot before I can deliver.. what if there isn't enough time?! I know first time labors typically take a while.. what if mine doesn't? What if I'm some freak of nature and progress really fast? I can't expose my LO to Strep B and the possibility of our blood mixing! Part of me kind of wants to ask about induction, but the other part of me doesn't want that- I'd rather let things progress naturally (even if it means I'm pregnant another 2 weeks LOL) At least with an induction I know there would be plenty of time to get my antibiotics and shot, it would be "controlled" ya know what I'm saying? Ugh! Feel like I'm starting to lose my marbles.. last thing I need is an anxiety attack right now!

I hope the rain is washing away the pollen for you! It's rainy here today too, I don't know if it's going to last all day though. I can't imagine being under a tornado watch- scary! Your house actually got hit? Wow. How bad was the damage?

Gas and poop- yep me too! The gas is like it was back in the beginning of my pregnancy! It just slips out without warning! LOL My husband is like "geezus hon!" and all I can say is "I'm not doing it purposely!" And I've been pooping a lot (a few times a day). That's sooooo out of the ordinary for me because with my Crohn's I'm lucky if I go 3 times a week, let alone 3 times a day! I just keep telling myself Sophie is making herself a little more room in there LOL

Pain on your right side? That's a little scary! Hopefully its just a strain from being sick and not something serious like it was with Vail! Keep me updated on that!

My stomach has been making some weird noises, and I've been having issues with gas and bowel movements. I've been having some cramps today, and contractions . . . but I am not getting my hopes up, just yet.

When's your appt? Mine is at 9:45am on Monday. I am still coughing up fluid. I am feeling a little better because the bronchitis is gone-but now, it's dealing with the asthma from all the pollen. But it's been raining, so here's to hoping that it knocks the crap out of the trees and their stinking pollen. We did have a tornado warning-I wasn't wanting that. Especially since our house was hit by one in August, and we still haven't had everything fixed. ARGH!!

But I hear ya. I think that I will be making it to my 40 week appt, and I have no clue what the docs are going to say, then. Especially since I am having pains in my right side, now, like I had with Vail two days prior to my BP shooting up. Uh oh. Let's hope it's not that.

So, my stomach has been gurgling like crazy! WTH is that?! And it feels like everything is going to fall out of my hoo-ha every time I stand up. Guess she is just nestling further down in my pelvis? But the gurgling thing is super strange- it's not normal "I'm hungry" tummy rumbling. Just thought I'd share my latest oddity.

I have my next appointment on Monday, maybe I'll finally have some progress! Though I'm not getting my hopes up. I've been rolling around on my exercise ball and doing squats, hopefully Sal will take me walking this weekend (though it looks like rain). I'm kinda over this whole pregnancy thing now..LOL I think its just lack of sleep and discomfort making me cranky. I really slept like crap last night- I swear it was the full moon's fault! I had nightmares, cramps, contractions (seriously my stomach was so HARD and it hurt to TOUCH!), hip pain, sciatic pain.. you name it, I had it!

That's the latest on me... Still hanging in there? How's the asthma? Any better?

LOL! When I was checked and I was 3cm (yesterday) it didn't hurt. Last week, when I was still closed, it hurt. So, maybe when you're dilated, it won't hurt so much?? IDK. I always try to relax with the contractions and imagine that they're being productive and pushing Aspen down and out. It helps me to imagine stuff like that. I try to work with the contractions, so to speak. If you hold your breath, you can make the pain worse. Your muscles will need the oxygen. That's why I believe in weight training and prenatel yoga-you HAVE to learn the breathing techniques with muscle flow for labor. You'll get too tired if you don't breathe. Your cervix gets low before it starts to dilate. With Vail, mine was low and effaced before I started to dilate. This time, it's been low and dilating at the same time it's effacing. My contractions have been every 2-3 minutes (frequency), lasting 1.18 minutes long (duration), pretty much since Tuesday. Every once in a while, they'll let up to 4-5 minutes apart, but it's not often anymore. So, yeah, when they're in a consistent pattern, things will happen. My next appt is Monday, unless Aspen comes earlier. I believe he might come this weekend, but I could be wrong.

Well, I just had my 38 week appointment, which included my first internal exam. First of all- OW! That hurt! The doctor told me to take a deep breath and then he reached in and I didn't exhale. He goes "Amy, breath!" LOL I just know I'm going to be one of those ladies in labor who passes out or needs oxygen or something! I've always been that way, when I have a Crohn's pain or stub my toe, my reaction is to hold my breath and wait for the pain to pass. Stupid. Anyway, back to my appointment- he said there's no dilation but my cervix is low. So I guess that's something?! I told him I've had contractions on and off, but he said that sometimes they don't do much unless they are more regular. He said it much more technical than that, but that's how I wrapped my head around it. Anyway, I go back Wed April 8th, we'll see where we're at then, unless something happens in the meantime.

LOL! I did the beach towels with Vail, but now I have a stock of waterproof pads and I will be using those instead, this time. They worked better than towels at the hospital when they broke my water with Vail.

Yeah, DH teaches.

Nope, didn't check and didn't ask. He just told me they will check next week. Oh well... I guess I can wait! Oh and I told him about the weird contractions brought on by hot food thing- I forgot to mention that in my last post. He said that it's my intestines causing that- similar to eating "spicy food" to bring on contractions. So it's more "me" rejecting the food than an actual baby/cervix having a contraction. He said it much more eloquently but those are my layman's terms!

Is your hubby a teacher? I forget if you told me that or not. During his spring break would ideal! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! My hubby works for his Dad, which you would think would mean he'd get all the time off he wants- yeah not so much. Their "busy season" is starting, so we're hoping he'll have a few days home with me at least (I'm thinking 2, maybe 3 on top of however long I'm in the hospital). Thankfully my momma said she'd come and stay with me during the day the first couple days (which means my niece will be here too since she babysits her- but I don't mind, she's almost 2, so she's pretty good). Plus I'm assuming there will be visitors in and out, so I'll have some help.

And I am right there with you about not driving much! Today was my first day going out by myself in a week. I didn't go far though! I was no more than like 2 miles from my house the whole time! And I also have that fear of my water breaking in the car- I actually put beach towels and garbage bags in both our cars LOL DH was like "what's the garbage bag for?" I told him it was to protect the upholstery LOL I have no idea if it will, but it's some sort of barrier!

SADSALLY-Glad to see you here!!

Amy-He didn't check you for dilation?? Did they ask if you wanted to be checked?? At my appt, yesterday, the nurse asked if I wanted to be checked and with all that's been happenning lately, from the mucous coming out to the crampiness, I wasn't sure and wanted to ease my mind. So, my doctor checked me and I am still 1cm on the outside and completely closed on the inside. Although, that may change in the next week as the contractions and crampiness are getting worse on a daily basis. I gained 2lbs but hadn't gained in the past 3 weeks, so I guess that's reasonable. LOL! My next appt is April Fool's Day.

Your DH is hilarious. Sounds like he's nesting too. LOL! My DH is starting to nest. He only gets a week off of work unless there are complications with the birth and then my doctor has to write an excuse for him to stay home with me. But, his spring break (away from all the crazy middle schoolers) is April 4th-12th. So, if Aspen comes anytime around that week, it'd be great!

I just got done vaccuuming the upstairs, and washing clothes and Vail's linens. Decided that I'd take a break before vaccuuming the downstairs, and drink some RRL tea and have a BellyBar. DH is taking the car to work, now, as I am afraid to drive at the moment. I am afraid that something might happen while I am in the car. LOL! After all, the popping sensation, when I thought that my water was breaking, happenned in the car. I don't want to take any chances.

I did my prenatel yoga, and weight training on Tuesday, and I am counting the vaccuuming as my exercise, today. I was thinking, if Aspen comes at the same point that Vail did, I would have him in 2 weeks. Wow!!

Of course you can join us! :-)

I had my 37 week appointment today and it was uneventful! I had a re-pap done and assumed he would check for dilation too (since he was already down there) but no such luck! He did comment that I haven't gained any weight in the past 2 appointments. I was surprised by that, he must have seen it all over my face, so he asked if I'm eating okay still. My hubby of course finds this hilarious and can't hold back his laughter. The doctor laughs too and says "I take that as a yes!" I told him I've been eating just fine, more than normal even. He said it has to do with hormones and my body getting ready, etc etc. He also told me not to worry if I even lose a bit, because that's totally normal too.

Next Thursday I'll have my first internal. I'm still very curious, but I just have a feeling that nothing is going on. Even though I've been having contractions and the stabbing knife pains.. I just think it's too early. Last week I would have swore up and down that there was progression, but now, I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum. It's probably because I've been getting rest! I have been on maternity leave for 1 full week and my feet don't look Barney Rubble and I'm not as uncomfortable. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, so even the discomfort I feel is managable. So we'll see...

Oh and last night we were supposed to go over to the firehouse and have them install our car seats, but I knew I could do it on my own. So before Sal got home from work, I took one of the bases out to my car and installed it. It's not rocket science. I've put in and taken out my niece's car seat countless times, so I knew what to do. When the hubby got home from work I said- "well, we can still take your car if you want, but I did mine". He got so mad for some reason. "I just want to do it by the book, I'd rather have a professional do it, blah blah blah..." To which I said "Do you really think I would do something I wasn't confident about? Especially when it comes to our child?" So he was like "Fine, do mine too then!" All cocky. So I did it while he watched and you better believe that base didn't budge! In the end, he was impressed and apologized. Gotta give credit where credit is due ;-)

I had my 36 week appt on the 18th, and nothing new with me, either. Other than I am off of bedrest, and he told me that he thinks that Aspen's going to be inside for another 2 weeks, tops. Wasn't checked for dilation, and I haven't been since 30 weeks, when I was 1cm on the outside and not open on the inside, yet. But that was with the preterm labor, and the contractions that I've been getting lately are regular. I guess I need to tell him all about the every 6 minutes contractions this morning, and the every 5 minutes contractions this evening for over an hour, at my next appt on Wednesday. It starts. LOL!

Painting the floor, huh? Guess it's his version of nesting. I can imagine that is impeding on your version of nesting. My DH has been doing the same thing-although with him, it's painting the walls, which involves sanding them (and he always forgets to cover stuff and clean the floor) . . . argh!

Hey girlie!

Just got back from my 36 week appointment, nothing fun to share though :-/ Just peed in a cup, had my blood pressure checked and the baby's heart rate (it was in the 140's). Next week I have to get a re-pap done (my pap's tend to be 'abnormal') and I'm assuming since they'll be down there they will check me for progress (keeping my fingers crossed!).

After our appt we went to Sears *rolls eyes*. My DH decided it would be a good idea to paint our garage floor. So this whole week my house is a disaster area- everything that was in my garage is now in my kitchen, living room and office. The big stuff (lawn mower, snow blower, etc) is in the backyard under a tarp, but everything else is in the house. It's like a maze! Grr! So getting back to Sears- since now the floor is painted, he thinks getting organization shelves are necessary. I don't totally disagree, but I don't see anything wrong with making our own out of 2x4's and plywood. He feels he needs to buy the "ready-made" crap. $300 later...... UGH! It's like fighting a losing battle, and I'm too damn tired to bother!

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest!!

What we're having for dinner, tonight. Of course, manipulated for my diet.

Sausage & Pepper Mini Deep-Dish Pizzas

These individual pizzas will be a big hit at parties, not to mention popular with kids.

For the dough:
1 package active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp.)
3/4 cup warm water (105 to 110F)
1 tsp. sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more as needed
1 tsp. salt

For the topping:
3 1/2 Tbs. olive oil
2 red or green bell peppers, seeded and thinly sliced
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1/2 lb. mild italian sausage, casings removed
4 slices of provolone cheese
1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese, grated
1/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
2 cups tomato pizza sauce

To prepare the dough, in the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the yeast, water and sugar and whisk by hand until dissolved. Let stand for 5 minutes, then add the vegetable oil, flour and salt. Place the bowl on the mixer, attach the dough hook and knead on low speed until smooth and pliable, about 5 minutes.

Turn the dough out onto a work surface and divide into 4 equal pieces. Knead each piece by hand for about 30 seconds, shaping the dough into a ball and dusting with a little flour if needed. Dust a baking sheet with flour and place the dough on the sheet. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let the dough rise at room temperature for 2 hours.

Meanwhile, prepare the topping: In a fry pan over medium heat, warm 1 Tbs. of the olive oil. Add the bell peppers, salt and pepper, and cook until soft and lightly caramelized, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer the peppers to a bowl.

Return the pan to medium heat, add sausage and cook, breaking the meat into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Transfer the sausage to a separate bowl.

Position a rack in the lower third of an oven and preheat to 450F.

Divide the reamaining olive oil among 4 mini deep-dish pizza pans (about 2 tsp. per pan), thoroughly greasing each pan. Place a dough ball in each pan and, using your fingers, press the dough in an even layer across the bottom and up the sides of the pans.

Place 1 provolone slice on each dough round. Top with mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano, bell peppers and sausage, dividing evenly. Using the back of a spoon, spread 1/2 cup of the tomato pizza sauce on top of each pizza. If desired, place more toppings on the sauce.

Bake the pizzas until crusts are golden, 30-35 minutes. Remove pizzas from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Makes 4 mini deep-dish pizzas.

Enjoy!
Leanne :)

I have been trying not to overdo things. I got Vail's Easter gift bags together for his class and teachers. I packed an emergency bag for Vail. Straightened the nursery up, just in case Aspen arrives in March. Packed Aspen's bag, and have been working on mine. Went ahead and washed and put up all the NB, and 0-3mos clothes. Put away all the other clothes in storage. Pulled some clothes that I might want to consign. And that's about it. I have the worst heartburn, and every time I have a contraction (not many in a day, but they sure are real ones when I do have them) I can feel Aspen pushing against my cervix. It will be interesting to see if I have even dilated at my next appt. That was one of the problems with Vail. My cervix doesn't like to dilate.

Yay for being off bed rest! Don't over-do it though missy!

You think he'll be here by the end of the month? That's exciting! I've had April 17th rolling around in my head lately. I'm hoping the dr checks me next week for dilation, I'm curious if anything is going on. I've been having BH/cramps on and off for a few weeks, nothing regular though, but in Child Birth Class last night the instructor said it was still possible for it to occur. It's the whole "unknown" thing that's starting to bug me. Getting antsy I guess!!

LOL! I am so glad that was a dream! I was nesting something fierce, yesterday, though. So, I am sure it's not far off.

Went to my DA today, and Aspen's still head down and engaged. They aren't checking dilation, yet, because they don't want to aggravate things as second babies can come pretty quickly sometimes. My BP was high for me, today, 125/80, which he is starting to get worried about. I don't have to take the anticontraction meds, anymore. They want me to let the contractions do what they need to do, and that I can have activity now-so long as it's not aerobics (still have to wait until next week for those), and I don't get dizzy/faint or have a racing heartbeat. They're thinking he might be here by the end of the month, which wouldn't surprise me.

Oh My Goodness! I had a dream last night you left me a message on here that your water broke at 1:40 am and you were going to the hospital! What a relief to see it was just a dream! With the way everyone is going early, it seemed SO real! Whew!

Amy-My Strep B was positive too, and when I asked the doc about that (because they hadn't tested this pregnancy, yet) they said that that's the bacterium that they found caused my UTI. Your BP isn't too bad. That's actually great for where we are in the third trimester.

My next appt is this Thursday. I am not sure what we're going to be doing at this appt, since it's my 35 weeks appt. I started going once a week earlier this time than I did with Vail, so I am not sure what to expect at any of the appts. LOL!

I am still working on the Easter bags for everyone in Vail's class. I bought some eggs with Wow Wow Wubbzy! in them, and some eggs with Little People in them, and I will be buying some with Sesame Street in them. I plan on putting one of each of those eggs on some Easter grass in a baggie, and putting some other eggs with toddler safe candies in them. Should make some pretty nice gifts for the LOs. For Vail, I think that we might hide some eggs around the yard for him to find, and take some pictures. If I am still up for it, I will take him to the Easter Egg hunt at the church on April 4th. We'll see.

I have assumed light bedrest, since that's what the doctor's are allowing-so I can do my prenatel yoga and light weight training. I did that today. Next week, just in time for my birthday, I will be able to resume normal activity. YAY! And SMART16 is due with her twins on my birthday (an induction), so I will be praying for a short labor for her next Thursday.

My DH's coworkers want to throw me a shower and were asking if I wanted a Diaper Shower or a regular shower. So, DH and I decided (after taking inventory of what we already have) that we would love to have a Diaper/Gift Card Shower, and not to worry about all the clothes, etc. We have too many clothes, already. LOL! I will need to pick up some infant gowns, but that's about it, for now. The ladies from church also wanted to throw us a diaper shower-so we will see-I haven't heard much back from them, yet.

So, that's where I am, now. Aspen's hanging in there! LOL!

Just got back from the doctors... it went okay. I told the dr about my swollen ankles and how they hurt and how I've got varicose veins from them being so swollen, he rubbed my back and goes "I wish there was something I could do for you sweetie, but there isn't". LOL He was totally sympathetic and sweet, and let me whine a few minutes about how I can't wear my wedding ring or watch anymore and how my ears ring and I see stars, etc. Sophie's heartbeat was good- in the 130's, my BP was a little high 118/72 but I'm chalking that up to sitting in the 80 degree waiting room!! Also got my test results back, of course the HIV was negative, but the Strep B was positive. I assumed it would be anyway, that's just been my luck lately LOL

How are the Easter baskets coming along for Vail's class? I'm going to need to find a crafty project when I'm on leave... I mean I still have nursery stuff to do, but that won't take me 4 weeks!

Well, that's my latest update... How are things with you? Have you had another appt?

I can't believe the April babies have started coming!!

LOL! It was in the 80s, here, today. I was going to help DH clean the car when Vail was napping and wasn't able to, because I was afraid that I'd overheat out there. LOL! Yep, most of our snow has melted, too.

DH cut Vail's cord, when Vail was born. It's really not that bad. So, what made you guys decide to bank the cord blood?? DH and I like to donate.

Yeah, I am definately starting to feel LOADS of pressure down there. Maybe head, maybe shoulders, and the fact that the uterus is weighing so much and the LOs are getting into position for birth.

I am feeling better, but frustrated. Now that they're letting me off of bedrest a little, it's so uncomfortable to do anything that I haven't been able to do much. It really is starting to get exciting . . . thinking our LOs will be here in a month!!

So, we went from 13 inches of snow in the beginning of the week to 70 degrees today!!! I wore flip flops!! LOL The snow is almost all gone, some mounds remain from the plows, but that's to be expected. I can see my grass though!

We had our first Child Birth class on Thursday night! It was pretty interesting, learned 2 breathing techniques, some pelvic tilts, stretches. Next Thursday we are going to go more in depth, but just touching the surface we learned a lot! My hubby has decided he is going no where near the cord LOL He kept saying "I'm not cutting the cord, I'm not cutting the cord" I told him he didn't have to, especially since we are banking our cord blood, they'll probably have to do something specific anyway.

I don't know about you (though I'm sure you're in the same boat) but my who-ha has been hurting! Oy! This morning it felt like she was just going to fall out (or was trying to claw her way out)! I was in the shower and contemplating what I should do- since I had to go to work this morning. But it subsided and I went into work. For a few minutes there though, I was seriously thinking of calling the doctor. I haven't seen any blood or mucus though, so I'm sure everything is still in tact, I'm assuming it was just pressure from her head.

How have you been feeling? Still resting enough? I can't wait to rest a bit, 9 more work days for me! Can't come soon enough!

Your baby shower sounds wonderful. Were you able to wear the outfit that you bought for the shower?? We got a ton of snow for SC-a measly 6 inches. LOL! I am used to more, coming from Alaska. LOL! That's a good idea-to buy specifically for the hospital stay. Good one! I will have to do some of that. Yes, I see the stars. It's usually related to your BP. I have high BP, so I see them quite frequently. Some people will see them when they stand up, have their legs crossed, are sitting or standing for too long . . . all things that create high BP temporarily. Oh, and too much salt will do it, too. Make sure to drink you water!!

So my baby shower was yesterday and everything went well, thankfully! I was a little concerned, there were some strong personalities there (and that's putting it politely!) that usually clash. But there was no arguing, fighting, snippiness, so I was grateful for that. We got a ton of stuff, quite a bit was not on our registry though.. but I guess that always happens. We did get a lot of gift cards, $300 worth! So we'll be able to buy what we didn't get and really want. We do have to return a swing though- because we got 2 of the exact same! I guess the girl at the register forget to swipe the barcode and remove it from the list. I felt bad though because one was from my best friend Steph and the other from my girls at work. If it was one of DH's distant Long Island relatives, I wouldn't have felt so awkward! Oh well. We did get the "big stuff" though, so that's good.

In other news- we got a TON of snow here today, about 10-12 inches! And of course my bank did not close, just had a delayed opening. My husband refused to let me drive in myself (and really I didn't want to either) so he took me in and picked me up. The roads were HORRIBLE! It normally takes me about 20-25 mins to get to work on a normal day, it took us an hour today! I swear they didn't even plow most roads!

I'm hoping to start "packing my bag" soon for the hospital too. I bought a few pairs of yoga pants and tank tops specifically for the hospital, so I know I can get those packed. But you're right, a lot of stuff I'm still using! Maybe I'll go and get little toiletries so I can pack them too.

I had a weird experience today at work.. I "saw stars" for no apparent reason. I was just sitting chatting with my manager and assistant manager and then all of a sudden they both were surrounded by and covered in hundreds of little white flashing "stars". It lasted a few moments and I told them what was going on, both asked if I felt okay, if I had a headache, etc. I felt mostly fine, a little warm, but that was it. I haven't had them since, but it was so weird! If it happens again, I'll call the doctor. I'm hoping it was just a freaky one time thing though. Ever experience that??

I was tested for HIV at my 30 week checkup. The day before I went into preterm labor. LOL! And the GBS, I was positive for that with Vail, and I am not sure that they're going to do the test again. I think that they've just written on my file that I am GBS+. I'd rather be safe than sorry, anyway. LOL! What is up with doctors being super late? My appts have been at 8:30am and I am there at around 8:15am, and when I see certain doctors in the practice, they don't arrive until it's nearly 9:30am. I can't stand that. When I was working, it was a real pain-especially since I drive an hour to see the doctor. I hate being late to work too. I hope that you got all the anxiety worked out of your system, though. I know how rough that is.

That's wonderful that your ottoman came in!! YAY!!

I have to go ahead and get started on Vail's classmates' Easter baskets and such. LOL! I like to complete things early on when I know that I will be busy around that time of year. Yesterday, I did manage to get to BRU to pick up a mobile for Aspen (something that we wished that we had for Vail), and a waterproof mattress pad, a "Big Brother" shirt for Vail, and my bag for the hospital. It's so hard to pack when you're still using half the stuff. LOL! So, we'll see. I tried to pack some, today, but I am really lacking the energy. I doubt I will even do my couch potato workout, today. I will probably go take a nap, as Vail decided that he was going to pull an all-nighter last night.

Still no sign of Urbi, and no one's been eating the food outside for 2 days. I put some more tuna out, today. We'll see what happens.
