The "Real Woman's" Workout
When you're busy with a growing family, it's hard to fit in fitness. But that may be because you are overlooking many opportunities right in front of you. Mother of four, Carrie Myers Smith, explains how you can get fit by doing ordinary things.
I saw that post. Wow, this pregnancy is not going well for you right now. I hope it improves quickly and you can enjoy the last several weeks.

Okay, so I just posted the "Spent last night in the hospital . . .", and I have been laying on my left side on the couch per doctor's orders (and because I don't feel like laying in my bed upstairs until bedtime), and drinking down my 3 gallons of water, and I go to use the bathroom and PASS A KIDNEY STONE!! I know that I am prone to kidney stones and that I have been in kidney failure before (1998), but this is too much. This pregnancy has been out of this world!!
So, yeah, I do believe that the antibiotics are working, now. LOL!
Oh my gosh!! I saw your post on the April 2009 board and was worried. Are you feeling better, yet? Have the antibiotics started working on the UTI?

I am due the 15th, but here's how last night went for me . . .
Yesterday, around 3pm I started to feel a lot of pain and burning in my lower pelvic region-near my pubic bone. It hurt every time I would use the bathroom, sit in a seat, or walk. DH and I were at the store picking up our fresh veggies for our fajitas, last night, and I could barely walk. He said that he could see the pain in my face. I decided then, it was time to go home, and I was going to call the doctor because my pain had become excruciating-and I had just talked to my doctor on Thursday about some pains that I'd been having and he suggested a possible UTI or Kidney Stone (which I have had problems with in the past). So, call the doctor and the PA calls me back and tells me to get the hospital-sounds like Pre-Term Labor. When I get there, they hook me to all these monitors. I have an IV, Antibiotics, and some various shots to stop contractions. They do a UA, and take some blood for some blood tests. Apparently, I was in Pre-Term Labor, I had a UTI and that was causing me to be dehydrated. So, my veins kept collapsing on them, and they were really having a time. They finally let me leave early this morning, and I am under strict orders of bedrest and fluids for the weekend. If it starts back again, I need to head back to the hospital. We'll see what the doctor says on Monday, when I call for a follow up with them. Good news is that I was only dilated to a 1 on the outside. Thank God! Aspen's not done baking, yet. That was really scary for me since I had a "perfect" pregnancy with Vail until 39 weeks. I had no idea what to expect, and I was so afraid. I still am pretty scared, and I am trying to take it easy-although, Vail doesn't really understand what's going on. He really hated seeing mommy being poked with the needles, last night, but we don't have anyone that could take him last night-it was so sudden.

Due the second week of April?? Get to know others that are due the same week as you! I have kept in touch with my friends from Vail's EDD week for nearly three years, now. Have fun!
