I'm happy to say I made my goal of working out throughout my pregnancy (I walked 2.5 miles the day I had her). Now it is time for some rest. I'll get back to working out in the next couple of weeks but for now I'm loving on my LO

Still running and weight lifting! I run 4 miles 3 times a week and lift on days in between. I worked out during my last pregnancy but not anything close to this intensity. The running has made the hugest difference in my pregnancy! I really feel great! I had about a week where I was uncomfortable -back and rib pain - but that had a lot to do with my stomach issues too (awful bloating, etc. that's a chronic issue with me). I have zero swelling this time, well I had a few days of it a few weeks ago, but nothing like I did with my last baby. I also have had nice low blood pressure - 103/69!!! It was a steady 140/90 with my last!! I have to say that the running makes me feel normal - I don't have the whole-body-pregnancy things this time, I just feel pregnant in my belly. Of course, that doesn't mean I haven't gained weight...I really have no idea how much I've gained because I refuse to look at the OB. I just know I feel healthy and energetic, and I'll worry about the weight after baby is here!

Wednesday: 60 min. Step and Sculpt class with(3 Ibs weights) I am starting to feel more tierd these days to keep working out, but I am trying to keep it up. Up until 2 weeks ago I felt like exercising helped regulate the weight gain, but now it is picking up pace and the exercise doesn't seem to help at all. So I am just trying to stay active as much as I can and watch what I eat.

SUNDAY: 3 mile walk MONDAY: 5 mile walk TUESDAY: 3.5 mile walk + 40 min hike I've had to stop running (just not fun any more) but I'm glad I'm still active. Those of you who are still exercising are you feeling pretty good still? Do you think the exercise has slowed the weight gain at all?
