We used pull ups for oldest, she got potty trained fully during preschool(to the no accident point). I used Huggies Underjams for 7 monthsand explained that she could sleep in her regular big girl panties if she remembered to get up and go potty at night.... After a week and a half of her staying dry we are now pull up free. I just let her lead, we still have a couple just in case ones. But she loves it and is excited now due to her being dry for so long, we offered to let her play soccer this fall! She is 4 yrs old now, it was a long process but worth it

My 3 yr old is the same.... we just use regular pull ups at night time because he usually don't have "too much" of an accident... but he is definitely so irregular that I don't trust that he could go a straight week or any length of time without them.

But I'm really not worried about it- he won't go off to college wearing Pull-Ups.

We used regular pullups and they usually held. Do the nightimes absorb more?

We used them until LO had a week of dry nights- they I let him switch to undies. It took a long time- no lie. But it did come around!

We use the Goodnites for our 4.5 year old, and they seem to work great! We call them her special night time panties.

I'm glad I read this because I've been concerned about her night time potty training. She just doesn't seem to be ready. We let her go a week without pull-ups and she wet the bed almost every night.

I guess it'll just happen when she's ready. We keep talking about her keeping her pull up dry, just as a reminder. And we make her potty before bed every night. Not much else we can do beyond that.

Thanks! We tried the Goodnights last night and did NOT have a leak issue! YEAH!! Hopefully it wasn't a fluke and these will really hold up. It was soaked when he got out of bed, but no sheets to change.

Thank you!

They have night time pull ups, so look for those specifically. I believe they are called Goodnites.

My son didn't potty train during the day until he was threee years old and one week. He went from pull ups to underpants in a moment's notice literally. I cleaned his poopy butt and he said "I want to wear underwear". For about three months we put a night time pull up on him (believe they are called good nites), but for about a month he woke up dry. We did a test run for no pull up at night for about a week before we stopped checking him. I can count on one hand the number of accidents he has had and it's been over a year now. He drinks up until the point he goes to bed, but we always try to make sure he goes potty before going to sleep just-in-case. The point of my story? Your son will stop wetting the bed when he is good and ready. My DH was a bed wetter until he was seven!

If his bed wetting starts to wear on your patience then talk to his pediatrician for advice.

Hey ladies! My 4.5 year old is completely potty trained during the day but NO WHERE CLOSE to being trained at night. We've tried off and on getting him to stay dry at night, but he's just not ready. He wakes up SOAKED.

I need some recommendations on pull ups for overnights. He completely soaks through the regular ones - even with no liquids 2 hours before bed and taking him potty before he gets in bed. He's 45 pounds so he's out of the limit of regular pull-ups but he's so skinny that he can still fit them pretty comfortably.

I haven't purchased the Night Jams yet because they are SO EXPENSIVE.

Any suggestions?
