Isn't that the best? Like finding money in a jacket you haven't worn since last winter. Actually this winter all I found in my pocket was old candy, but anyway...

I got this one on amazon.com. (If the link doesn't show up right just type "steamer" in the search bar and it's the 4th one down).

I have a rice cooker that has a steamer insert. But unless you need it for your food too, then I wouldn't go out and buy one. I used to use a metal or stainless steel colander over boiling water.
It's a boy!!!!
7lbs 8oz and he came right on his due date!!

I agree with the PP. Buy an inexpensive steamer insert. They are very convenient.

I do not use a steamer or insert, i just use my pot with a little water. The insert would be nice though.

I have a stainless steel steamer insert that I can use in any pot or pan because it expands and contracts to the right size. It's nice. I like it. plus it doesn't take up counter space. Just put it in the cabinet with the pots and pans when it's washed.
