I only feed Hayden the organic stonyfield yogurts and he loves them. If he even sees the container he has to have it then. I have to feed him his usual food and then take the yogurt out of the fridge or he will refuse the others. They also make yogurt meals which have veggies, fruit and yogurt in them. Hayden enjoys those as well.

Here at home, we have this yogurt that has no sugar, and is great! My LO loves it, and gets it at our place...he does however get another type of yogurt at daycare that has sugar; but I figure since he doesn't get a lot of sugar he'll make it out alright. ;)

Great information! Dr. Sear's site has tons of great advice on many topics.
I'm going to make this a sticky topic for awhile. Thanks for sharing!

Sam loves his yogurt, and I think the article has great advice. I disagree with Dr. Sears on one little point. He said kefir is liquid yogurt that often has corn syrups. I'm sure Dannon makes some kind of crappy drinkable yogurt filled with all sorts of junk, but there are several brands of kefir that are great. We drink a lot of Lifeway low fat plain kefir. It's only ingredient is cultured milk and it has 10(!) healthy bacteria. I make a smoothie with kefir and frozen fruit every day (plus a little honey if the fruit is rather tart). It satisfies my sweet/creamy/cold cravings, and it's super healthy!
So Dr. Sears needs to get on the kefir bandwagon! :)
BTW, I get the Ask Dr. Sears newsletter also, and I love that site! It has such great advice.

hi, here are two good articles from Dr. Sears' site. One is about feeding toddlers & the other is about yogurt.
