That's the most reliable info I could find online. If you have other links, that would be great. Better to check your labels than be sorry, for sure!

I'm in SC, too. Of course, the ingredients wouldn't vary by state, so if you are still finding them, then the info I found must be out of date.

Not new versions in SC, and they are not expired, either.

According to snopes.com these meds were recalled Nov 2000, so if you have any still hanging around, they are likely expired. It says that new versions have been reformulated.

All drugs containing PHENYLPROPANOLAMINEare being recalled.


STOP TAKING anything containing this ingredient. It has been linked to
increased hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in brain)
among women ages 18-49 in the three days after starting use

for Triaminic and they informed me that they are voluntarily recalling the
following medicines because of a certain ingredient that is causing strokes
and seizures in children

They are asking you to call them at 800-548-3708 with
the lot number on the box so they can send you postage for you
to send it back to them, and they will also issue you a refund.
