Well, if my cycles are all messed up after the m/c then they will basically be as unpredictable as they were before - hopefully they don't get any longer though as mine tended to run between 31 and 40 days. I always found it difficult to chart my cycle as O tended to happen on a different day every time. CM used to be the only reliable method for me but who knows if it will be the same?

I know a lot of people use the OPKs, and how they work is by identifying a certain hormone your body produces when O'ing. So I don't see why they would be any less accurate than a HPT. I'd probably just buy them off Ebay or at a $1 store. I'm not sure if they 'predict' that it has happened, or if it is going to happen. If you are pretty familiar with your cycles though, it may not be necessary. Get on fertility friend, and they explain quite a few ways to track your cycles and when you are ovulating. I found them very informative. On average it takes 7 months to get a BFP after a loss, so good luck trying to figure it all out, and I hope your cycles settle down for you! Mine were all over the place after my loss, but that's not the experience for everyone. Good luck and God bless :)

I have some questions about the Sperm Meets Egg plan. I've just had a look at it because my DH and I will be TTC again when my cycles return to normal after my m/c. It seems like a good plan but what I want to know is whether other people have had success with it? Also, where does one get these ovulation predictor kit things that she mentions and which brands are good ones? I've never used these before. Are they reliable? Last time we just paid attention to my CM to figure out when I was ovulating. It only took four cycles and my periods are all over the map so I figured that wasn't bad. Maybe these OPK's will be more accurate. Also, maybe my periods won't be so irregular anymore! That's what I'm really hoping because they were a pain to predict before.

Hey All... I thought I'd start a sticky post for questions about TTC. I know that when I first came to the team, I didn't know much about tracking your cycle, using www.fertilityfriend.com, and other TTC things because we had gotten pregnant so quickly with our first. The ladies here had a wealth of knowlege about how to get pregnant, so I though this thread might be a good place to ask/answer those obvious and not so obvious questions about TTC (trying to conceive :).
