It was a total blessing to be able to watch her grow & change over the 4 months - do count myself lucky as a lot of friends & family have had to go back to work sooner. I'm also very lucky in that she is staying with my mom & not having to go to a daycare/nursery/school.

And the best thing as you say is getting home in the afternoons to a big smile!

4 months...consider yourself lucky! I REALLY think, from my experience, the longer you have at home the better. I came back to work about 2 months after (or so).
It is hard, but it's great when you go home and they get all excited to see you!!!

Hey everyone!

Just a quick hello to introduce myself to the team. I have a 4 month old little girl at home & am back at work - this is the max amount of time we in South Africa are given as maternity leave. Anymore would have to be unpaid leave & that can't happen as I am the bread winner in our household. Being back at work is tough but you all know about that!
