Hi, everyone. I'm Catherine. I'm 19, DH, Alex, is 27. I m/c our first pregnancy Sept. 15. Now DH and I can TTC again, so here I am. We live in El Paso, TX. We were married May 23, 2008, moved, and found out we were pregnant within a 2 week period (it was a craaazy time). We haven't been preventing since the m/c, but now we can actively start trying again.
While I was pregnant, I actually lost weight. I didn't try to. I ate like a pig, and I should have gained a lot of weight, but I went from between 115 and 120 down to 105. My mom had pregnancy induced hypoglycemia. Her doctor put her on a very high protein diet, and she was fine, so I'm not sure if that is something that can be passed down. But since the miscarriage, I have packed on the pounds, and I'm back up to being between 125 and 130. I haven't been that weight since middle school, so I definitely want to take it off again. I'm only 5'2", so you can definitely tell when I gain weight.
