Hi KDBracks25, be positive, I know there could be issues with our age, but I am planning on being positive and not to listen to any 'horror stories' as everybody is different and every pregnancy is too.
I know there could be problems, and we will just tackle them if or when they appear.
I don't think that we will be having any of the tests either that determine 'potential problems' as we want this baby so much, and are willing to live with whatever beauty we are given.
I know not everyone will agree or accept this thinking, but our age does not give us the option of multiple pregnancies, so this may be the only child we ever manage to have, so it is a gift in whatever form it takes. Best of luck with your pregnancy and I hope your Doctor settles you mind when you see them xxx

Hi, I had a scan yesterday and there is a wriggling lentil in there, so we are both so relieved! I hope your appointment is as positive as ours was Lostpony, and I look forward to hearing about it x

Hi, Julisa. Another Texan here. Congrats and welcome to the team!

I'm dealing a lot with fears, too. My dr.'s appointment is tomorrow, and I hope to get some reassurance and an ultrasound.

miscarriage - May 1994

I am 39 years old, have Hashimoto's, and we are ttc. We sent samples of our last miscarriage for genetic testing and I am undergoing other testing in a couple of weeks. I would like to hear from other people who have gone through this type of testing. Please feel free to send me a private message.

Hi Julisa- I am also 41 & expecting. This was not a planned pregnancy, and there will be a huge (15 years) span from my last child. I am kind of freaking out because I hear there are so many risks at this age. Have not seen a dr yet as I just did home test a few days ago. I am living in Texas, not close to you, but would love to follow your progress!

Hi, I just found this website and a page for over 35's which was nice.
I am pregnant again after 2 years of trying after having a missed miscarriage (continued to be pregnant despite miscarrying the embryo). I am scared that this will happen again and am waiting for an early scan to confirm that there is another embryo growing nicely.
I just want to chat to people of my age range, but not having necessarily had my experiences.
I live in the U.K. and wonder if anyone else in nearby?
Thanks for reading regardless, and best wishes to you all in your own pregnancies
