I had the fingerstick portion done last week, so I could get the results yesterday. However, they lost the blood work. So, I had to do that again and now have to wait... <BR> <BR> The measurements were good, I saw 2 arms, 2 legs and even the nasal bone! I also heard the heart beat for the first time. It was magic. It was really a relief because my pregnancy symptoms completely stopped a few days ago. I guess I'm just lucky! The doctor said the yolk sac was well-defined and I saw the heartbeat! It was amazing! I just want to go back and watch it again. It was and it wasn't what I was expecting. I had blood work taken (a lot of blood work--I'm a type 1 diabetic with graves disease, so there were a lot tests that had to be done on top of the pregnancy test). I should be four weeks along (according to my calculations). I have diabetes and graves disease so the pregnancy is high risk. My first doctor's appointment is June 26, 2012. We have been trying since January. Now that it actually happened, it almost feels ... unexpected. <BR> <BR> I'm excited, but so nervous.
