I cannot believe I've made it this far!
Now comes another issue. I want to see my baby girl and she isn't here yet! The doctor thinks it may be another week at least before she gets here, and although I'm not physically too uncomfortable, I'm mentally insane!
My coworkers keep saying "You're still here?" and "You haven't had that baby yet?"
My family members are all wanting the baby to come on their day, whether it's a birthday, significan... Tue, 12 Feb 2013 17:03:10 EST Approaching the finish line http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=350491 Can't believe tomorrow will be my 39th week! This pregnancy has BLOWN by and I don't even feel bad! I was led to believe I'd be miserable the last four weeks of pregnancy by my sister, my cousins and my coworkers, but really, I just stopped attending spin class last week (at the end of week 37) and I feel great. I'm sleeping pretty much through the night besides one or two bathroom trips, and even though I have some discomfort in my lower abs and thighs, it's about the same as the day after s... Tue, 5 Feb 2013 17:53:27 EST Still exercising! http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=349504 Sometimes it's hard to get into the gym, with a crazy month of work, non-profit activities and an ever-expanding waist line! But I made it to the gym three times so far this week, hoping to go tomorrow as well and 20 times in November.
When I walk in there I automatically feel better and ready to get into active mode. Even though I feel pretty big and it seems like my stomach sticks out like a sore thumb, I don't care. I worked out for six years to get pregnant, and there is no way I'm ... Fri, 2 Nov 2012 17:44:07 EST It's a Girl! http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=348975 We finally got our 20 week sonogram on Monday and found out we are probably having a girl. There's a small possibility that it is a boy but we got a good look between "her" legs and there's nothing there to see so the sonogram tech said it's probably a girl!
We are elated to be welcoming the first girl of the next generation into my family and the first girl in 10 years in my husband's family, he has four brothers, six nephews and only one niece. My sister is already hoping she looks lik... Wed, 26 Sep 2012 21:49:29 EST So far, so good http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=348084 I'm already at 13 weeks and can't believe it is moving so fast! A third of my pregnancy is already past, and I haven't even started moving furniture out of the office to make it into a nursery! When I look at only 189 days left, I am freaking out! So much to do, so little time!
I'm still feeling tired a lot, but the never-ending nausea has finally abated. I feel a twinge occasionally but it's not all day, every day like it was in weeks 7-11. Thankfully I have had a wonderful supportive f... Wed, 8 Aug 2012 12:36:28 EST Prenatal Yoga! http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=347472 Bought a prenatal yoga video on Amazon and it arrived Friday. I was able to do about 30 minutes of the 60 minute video before stopping, so I was pretty proud of myself. It was very challenging. I chose the Kundalini prenatal yoga, because I have been practicing Kundalini yoga for about 5 years. I was surprised by how sore I was when I woke up Saturday! I'm only 7 weeks along, there were ladies on the video who must have been 39 weeks, they looked about ready to go, so I know this is something... Mon, 2 Jul 2012 11:24:17 EST Keeping morning sickness at bay http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=347300 On Wednesday, I fainted for the first time in my life. What made it doubly embarrassing was that I was at the office and it happened in front of people who didn't know I was pregnant! I was only out for a minute or two, and scraped my elbow up and skinned my knee. Thankfully I didn't hit my head, but for the rest of the day, I fought waves of nausea and cramping that liked to kill me. At one point I was crying in the bathroom, just hoping it would pass. By 5 p.m., it had subsided.
Yester... Fri, 22 Jun 2012 10:34:58 EST Afraid http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=347178 I found out June 13, 2012 that I am pregnant for the first time. After struggling with Polycystic ovary syndrome for the past 6 years, I was elated to finally become pregnant, without fertility drugs!
But with that elation comes something else that I totally didn't expect. Fear.
I'm afraid I'll gain too much weight. I'm afraid there will be complications or that I will lose the baby. I'm afraid I may not want to be a mom once "baby Johnson" gets here. I'm afraid my baby will be si... Fri, 15 Jun 2012 12:33:34 EST
