Hello, I went into labor 11-21-11. At 7pm, contractions started, at 7:20 i was dilated to a 5, I had to have a c section because twin b was breech. Off to surgery. At 8pm, fully dilated, no pain meds at this point. The girls were born at 8:18pm under general anesthesia. Katherine Grace born 4lb, 4 oz 16.5". Evelyn Trinity 5 lb 6 oz 18". The babies are doing well. I was already in the hospital for high risk of preterm labor since the previous thursday. Good thing cause we live an hour away and...

I was spotting this weekend so I called the doc for a sono
To Make sure all was well and found out we are having twins!
Wow! I laughed and cried at the same time!

Hello, I mentioned this in the welcome section but I'll go into more detail here. The dorctor says she is measuring around 6 pounds and should be only 4. I've done the best I can with my sugars and dont really know why this is going on. My A1C has bee below 7 which is said to be ideal during pregnancy. He also said that if she keeps this pace up we will have to deliver by c-scetion! I am sad and would like prayers regarding this. I'm going to try even harder for the last 6-8 weeks.

I had a dream the other night that the baby was a boy and its really making me nervous. I've asked my hubby and doctor for a 3D sono to double check but neither will let me do it. Sadly I wanted a booy at first, but since we've gotten her name I've fallen in love with her and if I didn't have a Selah I would be upset.

Baby's Room

Well, Its time to get started on bay's room. I am making her bedding. The colors are pink brown and tan. So far I'm really excited. Just have a lot to do and only 10 weeks left to do it!!! I am moving my oldest to a room by herself, then rooming the two younger girls together. Only I can't get them arranged until I get the room done, move the 2 year onld in with Leah, then work on the baby's roo. Fortunately all Selah needs is for me to make the bedding, no painitng.

Naming Baby

Hello, I sat down and wrote a list of names I liked from the bible. When I came to Selah, it actually got a star becuase I liked it thenI read the meaning and it means the ens (one of the meanings) I thought since my husband has had surgery, how appropriate. Her name will be Selah Joy.

Hello, The dr was rigth it is a girl for sure, I saw it with my own eyes. I'll start working oh her room soon, I hope. I need to make her bedding. I'
ve got to do some juggleing first and re-arrange the other girls to make room for baby.

Hello,
Well we saw the doctor and they had a hard time trying to figure out what the baby is. I could have sworn I saw boy parts, but he said it looks like a girl. Unfortunately I am one of those people who do not believe until I see it myself, so I'm still a little skeptical. Waiting for positive proof. Either way the baby is healthy and doing great!

Well, so far everything is moving right along. We won't find out what we are having until the 8th, just before I go out of town with my church dance team. I am really excited, just a little impatient because I have to wait so long. It seems like everything is on hold until we know what we are having. I thought about waiting, but we are really wanting a boy, for my son, the only boy out of 4 kids. It wont matter to me either way because both are fun. 211

We went to the doctor today and got to see the baby, still gender nonspecific. I'll say he though. I got to see him move around, it was so cute! I am so excited. We go back in 3 weeks, Aug 9. May be we can find out what we're having then? Anyway, i'm really excited.

Hi again, my belly is getting big and I am getting questions from my friends, "How far along are you?" Which I'm 9 wks 5 days. Hopefully I'm doing ok, and they just forgot how early they showed. Afterall, its number 5 for me and I'm not as young as I used to be.
