Excited to start TTC in September. Tue, 17 Jul 2012 14:09:41 EST Birth story. http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=326528 On Sunday night I was really excited to start getting little cramps. Up until them there had been no signs that the baby was coming anytime soon. I was still kind of crampy when I woke up Monday morning. I thought about calling in to work because I was just feeling off as well. I decided it was probably just me getting the cold Eric’s had and went to work.
During my shift I kept getting contractions that were anywhere from fairly uncomfortable to painful. At one point I decided to k... Thu, 13 May 2010 19:53:42 EST Ugh. http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=326037 For today at least I'm regretting my plan to work until 39 weeks. I'm so uncomfortable!

My belly itches like it's going out of style, my indigestion is driving me nuts, my hips hurt... To make it worse baby is really pushing on my urethra and I'm getting lots of shooting pains when I stand up, not to mention the difficulty peeing. I'm having almost constant BH contractions, and they are so far up into my ribs.

Whining feels good though! Sun, 2 May 2010 15:14:18 EST Feeling pretty ready! http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=326007 I think I'm pretty ready now. I'm excited to meet baby and have my body back. Honestly, I really don't even feel that nervous about labor. I'm trying to look at it as an adventure, and one with an awesome outcome, no matter how horrible it might end up being.

I'd really love to have baby soon, before Mother's Day. I know I'm pretty much setting myself up to go a week overdue or something like that, but oh well.

It feels weird to not have much to do. We're really pretty s... Sat, 1 May 2010 14:34:30 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=325386 We're really making progress finally! We've washed most of the baby stuff, I've got quite a bit in the freezer, we've packed a lot. We'll be setting up the furniture this weekend. I'm excited to have two more days off this weekend. I really hope we can get everything done.

Baby is still measuring well. I lost a pound this week, which I hope is a sign that labor is coming nearer. I should get my GBS results next week and the results of my urine culture on Friday. There is still prot... Thu, 15 Apr 2010 14:32:50 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=324839 We had quite the day yesterday. At the 34 week appointment my fundal height is slowly catching up. The doctor was very happy with the gain. I'm still putting on a pound a week, which is apparently going straight to baby. We talked about early labor signs, and what she would like to be made aware of as far as changes. I don't want baby to come sooner than 37 weeks or else we'll have to deliver somewhere else. :(

We also participated in an ultrasound teaching clinic. Several resident... Thu, 1 Apr 2010 20:53:18 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=324342 At our last appointment Dr. Lash told us that my fundal height has been measuring small for several weeks. She wanted to do some ultrasound measurements to make sure there wasn't a problem.

Her and her overseer, Dr. Anderson, each did a set of measurements (head cirumference, abdominal circumference, and femur length) and both of them had baby measuring about a week ahead. I had about 13.7 cm of amniotic fluid, was she was happy with. I'm not sure where all the weight I've been gai... Sun, 21 Mar 2010 14:39:28 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=323966 Baby is definitely slowing down now. The movements tend to be a lot more noticable though, as if each movement requires more of me to move. I don't feel like I'm getting any bigger which worries me a little, but I did have quite a growth spurt last week.

I'm starting to swell. I'll probably have to take my rings off soon. I'm hoping some more water drinking can help combat the swelling some.

I've still been having nausea again off and on. The Phenergan makes me too tire... Thu, 11 Mar 2010 17:43:50 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=323366 Baby has settled down a bit. I'm assuming it's because room is getting tight. I'm starting to get a little sad thinking about not having baby inside anymore. I'm finally starting to get used to it and even feeling pretty good a majority of the time. It's sad to think that this will be it. I won't ever feel a little person in my tummy again.

We're finally getting into gear with nursery type stuff. We started cleaning the rat room last night and we're going to a consignment sale this... Sun, 28 Feb 2010 15:15:17 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=323032 Yesterday we read chapters 17 & 18. I think we've only got a chapter or two to go! Now that baby move all the time I don't do as much reading and music playing. I feel a little guilty about that, but I'd say overall baby is getting more attention than before anyhow.

He still seems to really enjoy yoga. Maybe the extra air, or space, or just the motion? I think it's cute to have a little exercise helper now.

Our doctor put in a guess that it's going to be a girl. Sun, 21 Feb 2010 17:55:40 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=322567 Baby is moving all the time now! Sometimes I just lay on my side, watch him move and giggle over it. I realized yesterday, however, that if I wear a tight shirt everyone can see baby. No one said anything, but I saw a few people looking. It doesn't bother me, it's not like I could hide the fact that there is a baby in there at this point!

I feel like we're really making a lot of progress towards being ready too. We picked up some onesies on Wednesday. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up ... Sat, 13 Feb 2010 15:38:26 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=321856 Today we did yoga. I waited until afterwards to read because baby is almost always up and going when we're done. Baby was definitely up and kicking when we started but by the end of chapter 16 had quietted down a lot. We're almost done with this book now! Tue, 2 Feb 2010 20:21:08 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=321785 Baby was very active most of the night last night. Today I had lots of contractions at work though and now baby seems pretty quiet. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to do some reading or listen to some music. Tomorrow is yoga day too and baby really seems to enjoy that! Mon, 1 Feb 2010 22:39:12 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=321582 Baby has been moving so much lately. I find myself talking to LO more and more, instead of reading and listening to music as much. Now that there is some response it doesn't have to be as much of a scheduled thing. I do keep planning to read though! Fri, 29 Jan 2010 19:57:27 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=321206 Chapters thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen today! Sun, 24 Jan 2010 17:55:33 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=321199 Baby has been squirming up a storm for the last few days. I wonder what's going on in there? Sun, 24 Jan 2010 16:46:56 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=321122 Today we listened to Mozart's Symphony 40 full arrangement. It's one of my favorites so hopefully it's something baby and I can enjoy together! Fri, 22 Jan 2010 22:58:27 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=320899 Baby seemed to enjoy today's yoga quite a bit. We also polished off chapter twelve this afternoon. Sat, 9 Jan 2010 16:25:15 EST (no title) http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=319997 Today we read chapters five and six! Over the last few days baby has been much more active. Instead of just being active in the evening I feel sprinkles of activity throughout most of the day.
