I'm already at 13 weeks and can't believe it is moving so fast! A third of my pregnancy is already past, and I haven't even started moving furniture out of the office to make it into a nursery! When I look at only 189 days left, I am freaking out! So much to do, so little time!
I'm still feeling tired a lot, but the never-ending nausea has finally abated. I feel a twinge occasionally but it's not all day, every day like it was in weeks 7-11. Thankfully I have had a wonderful supportive family and work atmosphere and have only had to ask for one day off.
No major problems yet, have had some slight bleeding after intense sessions on the spin bike so I will be taking it a little easier in that class from now on. It happened Monday and really freaked me out, but I had turned my resistance knob up pretty high and was working out pretty hard. I'm going to class again in a few minutes but am not going to be doing what I did Monday, no matter how much my instructor and fellow spinners yell at me!
I think exercise is so important for having a healthy, complication-free pregnancy. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about becoming pregnant start a routine NOW and get used to it before you get pregnant! That way you can continue your exercise without interruption while you are expecting.
Side note, have only gained 7 pounds in 13 weeks. I am so happy and pleased with that, and hope to keep on journaling my food, watching my calories and exercising to stay within a healthy weight gain range.
