my stomach has so popped!! i look pregnant finally, out of the "is she just gaining weight"...and had the first official midwife visit last friday. i love how it just feels like going to a friend's house and having some girl time (she has several trainees that are always there, so there's always three or four people in the room). They are all so supportive and sweet. ANYHOW. So i have to keep a food diary and email it to the midwife. i can't remember if this is throughout the pregnancy (i think it is) or if it is just for the first couple of weeks. She's into the bradley method so she's got me on a high protein diet. She didn't say i couldn't eat anything in particular, well excetp for the diet dr pepper, but can't blame her for that...but said protein and fruits and veggies. try to cut back on the white flour, sugar, fried and unhealthy foods. so i'm trying. and drinking sooo much water, btween 3 and 4 liters a day...so I started this saturday. i feel so much better. less draggy, less exhausted. i'm not sure, is it the diet, or am I just hitting my stride? speaking of stride, i have to exercise 20 to 30 mintues every day...which didn't seem like much to this runner (um when i'm nto pregnant) but i'm taking a ten minute walk several times during my work day ...this is great. i do so much better with having to be accountable to someone. so glad I decided on a midwife this time.
