Not really feeling' it

Not really feeling' it blog
I'm almost 14 weeks into this pregnancy, and I'm not really feeling pregnant. No morning sickness, no sore breasts, little to no nausea. What I do have is a slightly larger stomach, 2 ultrasounds, and a fetal heartbeat. I know that's the important part, but it makes the 4 weeks between these early appointments that much more nerve wracking. Once I get about 2 weeks out, I start to feel like maybe I'm not pregnant anymore and I just don't know it yet. In just a few weeks here, I should be able to feel movement, and at 24 weeks, I start going every two weeks, but until then, everyday I'm looking up the symtpoms of pregnancy for that week and trying to check off a check list.

"I haven't felt different until I was 22 weeks (except weight gain), but now it's impossible to forget that I'm pregnant: every move comes with pain, I sleep no longer than 2 hours straight because I wake up every time I need to go to the bathroom, or even to just roll over, the baby seems to be training for the olymics (my guess is either gymnastics or boxing) and my apartment is turning into a warehouse full of baby stuff. I still love every minute of it, though!!" -- -BEAUTIFULGIRL-
"I am the same way! I just bought a heart monitor last night and am going to see if that helps. It's like you just walk around sleepy, moody and with a blown up belly. I think we should probably be happy about it for now. Don't have to feel horrible like some people have said they do. I am excited to get rid of the sleepy spells. Good Luck!" -- QUINTERO-MARTIN
"We have a Sololine B Fetal Doppler- $60 for the same reason. We hate to wait four weeks between appointments and even though my stomach is getting bigger and I've had almost every pregnancy symptom- it still doesn't seem real. We like to listen the heartbeat everyday and we can actually hear it kick on the doppler (sounds like someone flicked it- thump). I'm sure once the baby starts moving, you have more of a baby bump, and know the gender it'll all become more real for you." -- AMESSER1179
"Do your best to relax and enjoy this time. The 2nd trimester is when most women feel their best. Before you know it that little one will be kicking you so much you will not get any rest." -- SAMANTHABABYFIT
"I feel you pain on this one! if not for the fact that I'm exhausted, and I can now feel my uterus when i walk(I'm 18 weeks) some day's I'd convince myself that it was all a fantastic dream. . ." -- GETFITMOMMI
