So Jose came home last night and had a pencil attached to a string of floss. He said that the bar tender told him that if he hung it above my arm and it swung up and down my arm that I was having a boy and if it swung in a circle or across my arm that it was a girl. Anyone heard of this before or any other tricks of the trade?

	"Never heard of the pencil test but I did try the baking soda test. The thelry is that our urine is mode acidic when carrying a boy and more akaline with a girl. If the concoction fizzes it means boy, no fizz means girl... I had no fizz! :)" -- MAMASCO

	"there is a baking soda test as well- may have to Google but initially you put some baking soda in a cup along with fresh urine. if it fizzes it means one, if it's flat it means the other. Sorry- cant remember which is which but it was funny, and strangely accurate for me." -- HC2007
