3 months old blog
A lot has happened since my last update! Of course, our little son continues to grow big and strong. He is 14 weeks old and weighs about 13 pounds. He started rolling over from front to back two days before his three month birthday.

He LOVES tv. It doesn't matter what is on, he wants to be watching it. He's also becoming really coordinated with his hands and feet and likes playing in his "jungle gym". He's also been sucking his thumb quite a bit.

He is still sleeping in the bassinet by our bed. We try to get him ready for bed by 9:30 every day, and he'll sleep until our alarm goes off (on most days). Occasionally he'll get up for a snack once in the night. He naps in the morning and again in the afternoon and he still really likes bath time.

He's making lots of new sounds and his squeals are getting really cute and a lot more frequent. One big change, we lost Margaret, our babysitter who watches him while we work on Mon, Wed and Fri - so we resumed our search for a new daycare for him.

This time the daycare hunt was easier because I had already seen some places that I hated and some that I liked and I knew what kind of place I was looking for.

I found Miss Abby! She has a little daughter named Harper (2 1/2) and she watches Paityn (3) and Nikhil (1 1/2) in addition to my little Kevin. She watches the kids in her home, which is near ours, and she sends us updates and pictures throughout the day. He has been going there for about a week and seems to like it.

It's nice because she'll use his cloth diapers there and feed him breastmilk. He eats three 4oz bottles when he's there. It's kind of nice to take him to daycare rather than him being watched in our home. We have to leave 15 minutes earlier, but it's no big deal.

It's been really warm this month here in Utah, so we took our little guy for a swim in the pool. He loves swimming in the bathtub, but he's not so sure about the pool yet.

His auntie Julie came out for a visit, for just a few days, we took him on his second hiking trip. It was supposed to be to white pine lake - but we took a wrong turn and never found the lake.

We had tickets to see the US women's national soccer team last Saturday and we went with Julie, Niki, Dalley and Kevin's dad. It sure was a lot of fun! Marilyn stayed with Dylan and baby Kevin at our house to babysit.

And for the 4th of July, we went to an RSL game! We took baby with us and he did really good. He got scared during the flyover and at the beginning of the fireworks, but after he stopped crying, he seemed to really enjoy them.
