I had my first OB appointment today. It was and it wasn't what I was expecting. I had blood work taken (a lot of blood work--I'm a type 1 diabetic with graves disease, so there were a lot tests that had to be done on top of the pregnancy test). I had this vision in my mind that the pregnancy test would be immediate--of course that's ridiculous. Anyway, now I wait for the results...
On a positive note, I really like my doctor. My regular doctor does not take high risk pregnancies, so this was my first time meeting this doctor. I was concerned that we wouldn't click, but the appointment was great. He really put me at ease.
I feel better about everything--although the waiting is killing me.
