I found out this morning, using a home pregnancy test, that I am pregnant. I should be four weeks along (according to my calculations). I have diabetes and graves disease so the pregnancy is high risk. My first doctor's appointment is June 26, 2012. We have been trying since January. Now that it actually happened, it almost feels ... unexpected.

I'm excited, but so nervous. I know that diabetes and graves disease increase the chances of miscarriage. Also, I'm going to be 35 next year, so my age isn't helping either. I am going to pray every day that God protects my baby.
