Now that the weather's gorgeous, it seems everyone is having garage sales! I happened to drive by a church garage sale on Saturday and decided to have a look. It was fantastic! I scored 2 pairs of maternity pants and a cute yellow onesie and matching hat for $5. I also lucked into some lovely fleece baby blankets, which will come in handy since I'm due in December, for $1 each. My favourite deal, though, was a beautiful Brentwood rocking chair for a mere $5. My dad will refinish it, as the stain on it had seen a lot of wear, and that will add an extra, personal touch to our baby's room. I'm so excited!!
On a completely non-baby-related note, I also got a set of popsicle molds, and filled them with yogurt and berries. Not quite like frozen yogurt, I think I'd need to mix in some other stuff, but they're refreshing when it's this hot out. Plus, dairy and fruit!
