Well, it's been two months so I think it's time to start thinking about getting back in shape. From having the baby, losing water weight, and the subsequent 8-9 weeks, I've lost 26.5 of the 38 pounds I gained while pregnant. For those keeping track at home, that's 11.5 to go. I know this will be hard, since most of this weight is actual fat, but I'm of the "It took 9 months to gain it, give yourself 9 months to lose it" mentality. Well, that means I have about 7 months to lose 11.5 pounds, which doesn't seem hard. The one problem I see is that we are exclusively breastfeeding, and I know the body likes to hang onto some extra fat to ensure the baby has food.

I'm going to start tracking my diet and hopefully slowly starting some fitness again.
