 At 4:06pm on Jan 28th Our son Colson Nicholas was born. He is 7lbs 12oz and 22 inches long. His birth did not go as planned in any way. I am just so glad that I had such wonderful nurses and supportive husband to make it through.
His first day he didn't sleep longer than 20 min. He had amniotic fluid stuck in his tummy. they got that out and the nurses helped show me how to help him with a few other issues he has been having.
We are home now. And I am just so thankful for the support I got, I so needed it. (I don't want to share bad delivery stories, I want to share the good parts and that was the wonderful help I had). We are now recovering and resting.
The other kids are loving their new baby brother. My 2 yr old is not so excited about him but he isn't mad either, he just doesn't want anything to do with him right now, which is great that he is not all over his brother and trying to touch him to much. My 4yr old was like this when my 2yr old was born and it worked out great. She came around and loved him at her own pace.
I am loving my family all bonding together right now and I am so excited that it is starting to be time work on getting me healed and then in shape. It's so nice to be able to move around a bit more :) YAY!!
