Weight Training Kinda Sucks ..

Weight Training Kinda Sucks .. blog
So today was day one of attempting to weight train. On my agenda: sit-ups, push-ups, crunches, leg lifting.

Oye.

I could only get about ten sit-ups in before collapsing to the floor in exhaustion. I could barely lower myself into the push-up position, let alone do one completely. Crunches went better for me, as did the leg lifts. My entire body feels like jello now. I'm SO out of shape, it's embarrassing.

I feel great, though. I'm happy that I did it and am now determined to set up a weight-training regime that'll work with me and for me. I even walked the stairs in my building, and feel really great. I'm so proud of myself for getting to it!

I'm sure tomorrow will be hell on my newly exercised muscles ... But it was so worth it. The pain means that my work out was effective! And in a few months, maybe in a year, my newly toned and healthy body will be the reward for all the hard work and tears of frustration :)

Sore muscles? I've got the tylenol ready. I'm not afraid of you.
