First Ultrasound done and done blog

We had our first ultrasound today, and I was REALLY nervous about it!

We saw the baby and although we are dating a week behind what we were given at the first doctor's appointment, its to be expected ( my cycles were already out of whack after the cancers and then the miscarriage so really it was anyone's guess)

So we are JUST starting week 10 now.

The baby's heartbeat was FAST though 174, but the technician assured us that is O.K. and that as the pregnancy progresses and the baby grows that it will settle into a nice, slower pace.

Hahaha it was crazy to see though-- the baby had its hands up and was just bouncing away.

Those Irish genes are strong I guess :P
