Not sure if I should be thankful or worried, but Anna slept for 7 hours straight last night! And she's only 13 days old!
We're BF'ing, so I would never have expected such a long stretch between feedings, but she was doing some major cluster feeding yesterday evening from about 6pm to 10:30pm (like every half hour to hour). I'm guessing that she got plenty of milk during the day/evening, so she was just filled up to make it through the night.
Of course I woke up in a panic, checking to make sure she was breathing, and my boobs were about to explode, but a night of 7 hours of sleep....I'll take it!
One thing I'm doing differently than with my son is that I am truly feeding on demand. For Anna, it really seems to work in terms of keeping her full during the day, so she has consistently been sleeping 4-5 hours at a stretch at night since about the 2nd night we were home. With Jake I tried so hard to get him on a schedule, and it just didn't work...he made his own schedule.
It's funny how you tend to be more relaxed with the 2nd baby...I love it!
Oh, I also finally uploaded some pictures of our little Anna Bug. She's a cutie!
