Wow, what a day we had! DH & I took DS and both my parents and sister met us at Sovereign Hill for a big day of lots of walking and stepping back in history :)
Our little man had a ball panning for gold and was really excited when daddy found a few flecks, he also loved the coach ride and thought that the team of four horses was so much better than the one pony we put in our own cart at home! We went on an underground mine tour (Which was a huge feat for me as I am petrified of being underground. The tour finished with a quick ride on a little train thing which DS thought was fantastic. We spent a lot of money (that we really couldnt afford to) on souveneirs and had a scrumptious lunch served by ladies in fantastic costume very fitting of the era :)
At the end of the day I could barely move I was so sore and crampy not too mention how my feet were feeling! But all in all a super day and I wish we had had more time.
