 Happy Birthday to Gracie! She turned 2 on Saturday July 16. We had a small party at home for her. The weather cooperated so that we could have it on our deck. She enjoyed the cake and presents. She was in Little People heaven. She loves those toys and got several new sets.
She went to the doctor this morning for her well visit. She's 34 inches tall (50%) and weighs 23 lbs 10.5 oz (15%). Her head is 19 inches (70%). She got one shot. She did very well.

 I can't believe my boy is 4 years old! He's doing great. We had a birthday party for him at Chuck E Cheese on Sunday and he really enjoyed it. 9 of his friends (mostly from daycare) came and had fun. He got lots of great presents including a backhoe, sunglasses, a Toy Story game, a Hot Wheels case with match box cars, and a toy medical kit.
He went to the doctor's yesterday. He weighs 40lbs (80%) and is 41 inches tall (75%). My big boy!

 Gracie turned 1 on Friday! We had a party for her on Saturday. She had fun at the party and loved her cake. I just gave her a piece and she ate lots of icing and made a good mess. Up to the bath after! She wasn't into opening presents, but big brother helped her with that. She got lots of pretty clothes!
She is still mostly army crawling. She's also pulling up to standing and starting to cruise a little. She loves to stand, but is pretty tenative about trying steps. When she is standing, she sometimes forgets to hold on and will stay up.
Went to the doctor's today for her 1 year appt. She's just shy of 19 lbs (20%). Her length was 28 1/2 inches (although, I think the nurse jipped her a little bit there) for 25%. Doctor said that she looked very healthy! Head was 17 3/4 inches (50%).
She's still nursing and that's just fine with me. Maybe in a few months, I'll start trying to wean. Not quite sure on that. She likes table food and feeding herself.
She has her 2 bottom teeth and that's all for now. The top ones look very close, though.

My little boy is now 3. He had his check up today. He weighs 35 lbs and is 38 1/2 inches tall. 75 % for both. He also had his blood pressure taken for the first time today and a vision screening. Everything checked out well.
For his birthday, he got a big crane truck, a new bathing suit and flip flops, a Red Sox cap, and a book about construction trucks. He likes them all. He didn't have a party, yet, as we were away for the weekend. We are having a party in a few weeks when his grandmother is visiting from Florida.
