another faint positive... this is starting to scare me. I'm 12 dpo... my luteal phase has increased so i don't know what it will be this month at all... each day AF doesn't show it just keeps adding one.. right now i have a 12 day LP.
temp went up very slightly from 98.3 (temp after my so-called Implantation Dip temp of 98.0) to 98.4.. so i guess thats....good?
this is all driving me bizerk. why would lines be so light? you think i could have low hcg..?
my period is due 3/3... if lines don't darken by then.. is it safe to say houston we have a problem?

"With my 3rd pregnancy I got nothing but very very faint positives. I have never had that before. This one the positive was so dark it is like it took from the negative line. Have you thought about going to get checked from your doc." -- HEALTHIMOM
"If you're still charting your temps. keep it doing it. If you miscarry, your temp will drop. If you are in fact PG, your temps will remain high. Try not to stress out (way easier said than done). Hugs to you and hoping this one sticks!" -- RSWARNOCK
I stated to take a vitex pill yesterday.. to help with my LPD... and i'm so concerned about when i actually ovulated.. I got 2 positive OPKs on CD 13 and 14... and negative thereafter. But my chart show a huge temp jump on CD 19... which is when i usually get my OPK+...
however i got loads of EWCM on CD 13 an 14... which matches what my OPK said.. so now i'm unsure. I'm trying not to think about it..
here's my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3ac7 37
what do you think?

"yes i had irregualr ovulation days... i actually never knew when i was ovulating.. at all..
its only my second day taking it.. maybe i should stop!!.. hmmmm" -- MSW1NSTON
"Careful with the Vitex! Did you read that it can make folks with regular cycles irregular? It's strong stuff. Where you ovulating regularly before? There is nothing wrong with ovulation day 18 (my O day too) as long as you have about a 14 day LP. I've heard of womens cycles getting super messed up with that stuff. I think it helps those ladies whose cycles aren't regular, like those with PCOS and stuff like that. Good luck." -- CKBALLARINO
I have a 10 day LP. I started taking 200mg of B6 (along with a FertileAID... which has the rest of the neccesary B vitamins to make up the complex) on day CD 2-3 and continued on.. (still taking it now). I usually O on CD 18 or 19... I ovulated on CD 14 on the dot. Had EWCM on CD 12-14.. amazing. If this has lengthen my LP...i've gained 5-6 days from taking B6 for about 2 weeks!
What amazing results! I think it really helped balance my estrogen/progesterone levels.
I want to make sure people know the benefits natural supplements can have.
** I was also on FertileAID and FertileCM...

i've been doing my research and have discovered that the RDA for omega 3 (EPA & DHA) for pregnant women is 300mg oand my OMEGA 3-6-9.. only contain 150mg so i'm on my way to vitamin shoppe to get my prenatal dha supplement.

2nd day with temps over my coverline... Actually higher than yesterday's!
CD 15 - 97.5
CD 16 - 97.7
this looks good! Yesterday was my first day adding calcium to my regimen.. So I'm good there now. I will quit the green tea after tomorrow. Cause now we are gearing up for impnatation...just to be safe even though I know it takes 7-10 days... I could technically stop on wednesday ... We'll see. I'm continuing with my vitamin regimen... And it's working great!!
Hopefully tomorrow I temp even higher!
Until then,

"Do mind giving me some tips on vitamins? I actually taking FOLIC ACID, VIT. D-3 1000units, PRENATALS, AND B6. Had an appt. with my RE yesterday to check my ovaries for follicles after my hsg. And we knew I don't Ovulate but I didn't think it was that bad. I have 0 follies ;'( so he did some blood work yesterday as well to check my progesterone levels, and now I'm waiting for his call. Depending on my results since he thinks I had Ov. already I will take Provera. I know I didn't Ov, because I che..." -- SARALEJO2011
Definetly O'd yesterday! CM is sticky.. no longer egg white. Cervix is hard.
I'm taking my vitamins regularly.. and charted my first temp over my coverline today. Sadly, I forgot to temp yesterday... so hopefully the next couple of days they stay high!! I'll keep you posted. I have a good feeling about this!
Going to get some Calcium Supplements... i know i don't get enough.. required amount in preconception/early pregnancy and throughout is 1000-1200mg/day...so i gotta get on that!

I believe today is O day!.. I've stopped the EPO (evening primrose oil).. and swtiched to an Omega 3-6-9 complex.. since EPO is no good in the second half of your cycle. I'm still on the FertileAID and Fertile CM.. and i'm taking my b6 still.. unsure of whether to drop to 100mg a day or stay at 200mg a day, like i've been taking.
I did my research and found out that b6 increases progesterone, as well as 750mg of vitamin c, and 150 iu of Vitamin E. I currently take 100 Iu of Vit. E, but only 185 mg, of vitamin C.-- so i'll be taking more of that.
Here's being proactive!
Drinking lots of water and my green tea... :-)
I feel great. Fingers crossed.

Today was my first day of OPK testing. I'm a 30 day cycle... and today is CD 13. I tested at 11:00am.. and i got an OPK+! I think the B6/FertileAid/FertileCM/EPO regimen is working!

So i purchased the stroller for the baby two days ago. After test driving a few, and trying to weed out the ones that cost as my first car at 16 or looked like it might take Aden into orbit (I was hung up on the maclaren grand tour lx.., but 800 bucks... Saftey headlights and a strollometer???!!!! Really folks?!) I decided on the UK brand Mamas & Papas, And selecting the Urbo. Solid steel chasis, stylish, car seat compatible, snap on and off seat, reversible, adjustable handle height... I love it.
I also got a maxi-cosi infant car seat... And some cold weather must-haves!
Our friends and family got us so much clothes.. He's set until he's about 1.
Ugh.. We'll be moving come mid-November to a larger space.., then it's nursery time!
Where's my cape and peel -n- stick "S" on my chest!!

Aden is kicking all the time. He's establishing sleep (or rather less active) periods, and bouncy-bouncy times... Lol. At our 20 week appointment the baby had his anatomy scan but refused to cooperate part-way through the appointment so not all the shots could be taken... So 10/25 we're gonna try to finish it up!

ouch! its like short stabbing pains, i think it just my stomach stretching that 's what i've been hearing from everyone else I mention this too.. but omg, it hurts! Anyone else experiencing this?
8.29.2010
"According to my doctor, short and stabbing is OK. It could be stretching (round ligament pain) especially if it happens when you roll over or move. If it's happening when you're just sitting/standing there, it could be your organs being pushed around by the baby, or gas :P If it worries you, call your doc, but it sounds fine... if painful!" -- PEARLKITTY
Husband touched down on american soil early this morning, and will be here September 3rd.. thanks to god. I'm so happy he's safe and home, and we are one step to seeing this be completely all over. In baby news, I just got my home doppler and heart rate is so easy to find! 154 beats a min this morning! I love it. In three weeks more i have my Quad Screening, then we'll hopefully get to know sex... i'm dying to know!
I attached my week 13 sonogram pic!

AAAHHHAHHAaahahhhh!. So annoying. I sleep in a reclined position so, it does alleviate some of the burn, but jeeez, no more chinese food for me. Yuck. Its so over. And i've only eaten it twice.

another chance to see baby, hopefully to see gender but i may be asking too much right now.. lol, i'll be only 13 weeks. Then on tuesday the 17th, i luck out and go for my 3rd OB appointment, another chance yet again to see baby and hear the baby. So exciting! I've gotta video the whole thing again for my husband because he won't be here... he doesn't come back from iraq until september, I miss him so much :-(
But, he's so involved in everything and like to keep informed about everything so, daddy is in the loop at all time. I love him for that.
Stay tuned ladies, I promise to dish the details!

Okay lately i've been feeling like i'm 63 with the hot flashes. i'm so hot! My poor husband... if this continues through the winter, let me say my apologies to him right now! LOL. Anyway I have al ACs running simultaneously, my skin feel super warm to the touch. Any one feeling menopaus-ish... with this pregnancy. Cause lord knows, I am. 8.10.2010

Its so uncomfortable, to the point where it hurts to lie down. Feels like the pain is in the bone almost. Its hurts so bad! I've had them for about 4 days now. HELP. I'm gonna talk to my doctor next week and she what she says.
in other news, on tuesday I'll be 12 weeks! Whoo hoo.. goodbye miserable Ist Tri!

"I found using several different pillows help rather than the body pillow. That way you can position them all over until you are comfortable. By the end of the pregnancy I will use about 5 pillows a night: between the knees, under the belly, under head, holding one and sometimes under both feet or behind my back. Doesn't leave much room for the hubby but he understands." -- CSCHLICHER
"I had my baby in May, but I had similar issues in my pregnancy. A body pillow does help. I usually slept with 3 pillows. One under my belly, between my legs, and against my back. Hope this helps!" -- GIANNAMOMMA
"Thanks for the tip... it does help a little... i might look into a body pillow... yeah i know what you mean about the sciatic nerve pain, I have that too... I was a runner before, cross country so I have bulging disc in my back from a prior running injury, so i'm more prone to sciatic pain during pregnancy. Ouch. Thanks! How are you coming along?" -- MSW1NSTON
"Have you tried a pillow between your legs? I've been having hip and sciatic nerve pain, and this does seem to help. Also, I learned that you have to be really careful carrying and lifting heavy things, or you'll pay for it later! Hope it gets better and lets you have a full night's sleep!" -- PEARLKITTY
Aside from my general sluggishness, (jeeez.. i'm so sleepy these days)... i'm feeling good! This weekend i'm starting pregnancy yoga which i think will be just awesome, I need to get up and get moving! I'm excited about that, really. I need some retail therapy, lol.. but i'm just not feeling up to do my usual morning routine: hair, makeup.. yada, yada. Now i'm like ponytail... fresh face, no make-up and out the door. I just don't have the energy or desire to... i hope that changes. I do make it for my routine mani-pedi though.. that still hasn't changed. HA!
I'm eating well, i'm glad about that, and i'm looking forward to 8/16 so i can see the baby again!

OMG, i'm so sleepy.. i'm at work and feel like i need clothespin to hold my eyelids open.-- and its only 2:21 in the afternoon.. YIKES. This fatigue is getting worse, by far. I can't even stay awake to watch the Yankees play a whole game, let a lone watch the evening news, i'm gone... so far gone by 8:30.. LMAO.
So sad. But true. LOL

The baby is so tiny... i got to see his heart beating, and not just hear it..
i measured at 10 weeks on the dot, so i'm still on track for 2.22.11 as the Due Date.
I gained 7lbs... so i'm 123 now. What else.. nothing else. It was so great to see the baby, I was feeling worried prior to this appointment, just from the general lack of knowledge as to what's going on (you know how that is..). However, Tuesday, but all my fears to rest.
I have a NT screen on 8.16 and a 3rd OB appointment the next day, i'll be 14 weeks by then. Hopefully we can use the 3D machine and get some better looking images!

"You know what Joy, she didn't... i mean i was on the low end before... so i guess that was her reason for not saying anything, but i'm trying to cool it too, cause i still have 2 weeks left in this trimester and don't wanna go overboard. I'll see what she says my next appointment." -- MSW1NSTON
"Congrats on the great appt. Did the dr give you any grief about the weight gain... I've gained 5 since my last appt and I have a feeling they are not going to be happy since I'm already overweight..." -- JLTATER3997
I was irritable before even walking in the door to work today, just knowing i was on my way here was reason enough to have a permanent scowl on my face. I'm in such an angry, irritable mood, surrounded by unkind, insensative co-workers, who make me wanna throw things at them. Seriously, and on the day of my L2 sonogram, this isn't the mood i was hoping for. I was so excited thinking about it when i got home yesterday, talking with my husband about it.. and now, i wanna set fire to every single cubicle in here.

"well, I'm showing already, i'm 10 week 1day...so i can't hide it there, its just that even them knowing i'm pregnant, they aren't taking into consideration physical things i can't do... and almost scolding me when i'm not running across to the other side of the building for something... i'm like HELLLOOOOOO... uh... BABY! Jeeeez. LOL" -- MSW1NSTON
"Ouch... I guess I'm really lucking in my work :P Sorry about your co-workers! Is it because of the pregnancy thing, or do they even know? I know everything will work out, and for now... I guess you just have to tune them out!" -- PEARLKITTY
"You know what SHEARER80 .. you're right, absolutely right. I'm in a bubble at work these days.. lol." -- MSW1NSTON

"Haha, helloooooo pregnancy hormones. Hope you are feeling better and can't wait to hear howyour sonogram goes!" -- JLTATER3997
I have my 2nd OB appointment tomorrow, and another chance to see the baby, which is great, cause all this unknown stuff is killing me! I'm sleep horribly... I'm a back sleeper and stomach sleeper and seeing as I can no longer do either, sleeping has been really difficult-- even with the pillows-- one between legs, one under head, one wedging the back... and still-- HORRID!!
I dunno, but the backaches are getting worse for me... just a dull lower back pain.. that's really uncomfy. Good news is that the nausea has left the building, I've been nausea free for a little over 2 straight weeks, and I think its gone for good!
*doing a little joy dance*
what else has been going on... hmmmm..... oh! I've got my NT scan coming up 8.16.. so that should be interesting... I'll be almost 13 weeks by then, so maybe I'll get to know if its a boy or girl....!!!!!
