I am in high spirits today! I am four weeks pregnant with my third baby. It was quite the surprise to find out I was pregnant, but a very happy one. :) I've known for about a week and a half. I have two beautiful DS Christopher who is two and Aiden who is one. Today I was having a lazy day lounging on the couch watching Desperate Housewives~my guilty pleasure~ when I thought, get up and do something. :) I did half of my Jillian Michaels 20 Day Shred dvd (half because the boys needed me ten minutes into it) then I did twenty minutes of strength exercises. I've had four bottles of water, which is just over 64 ounces. And after my shower I used lots and lots of lotion to hopefully get less stretch marks this time around lol.
I'm starting this pregnancy overweight, and that makes me really sad. :/ When I got pregnant with my first, I was a teenie tiny 110 lb cheerleader, so being a frumpy pregnant 160 lb mom isn't so great for the self esteem. But I've realized that I got myself this big, and I'm not making the same mistakes. :) Water will be the only drink I have. I drink entirely too much caffeine, so this is a big step in the right direction for me. It was silly for me to have the caffeine anyways, because drinking water makes me feel more energized. :)
I'm also making sure I'm active in some way every day. Some days it'll be one of my workout dvds, on busy days maybe it will just be doing a few cardio/strength exercises here and there, maybe I'll take the boys for more walks. I have the double stroller and plenty of hills by my house. :) I just want to set a good example for my family and start the healthy habits now, so that after this baby is born, workouts will be second nature and I can be a hot mama when Christopher starts preschool!! :)
