My name is Allison I am 30 years old and have been happily married for almost 7 years now. I have two children, my son just turned 5 and my daughter will turn 3 at the end of this summer. It has been quite a while since I have been active on this site but I've always found it to be a good support when you don't always want to talk to your friends!
Since the birth of my daughter in 2009 I managed to lose 15 lbs doing P90X for about 4 months straight. (I'm really not all that big so 15 lbs made a huge difference to me). I got myself down to my fit college weight and managed to keep it off until now just by eating smaller portions and not eating a ton of sweets. I ended up stopping the program last summer when my daughter got sick, she was almost 2 at the time), and ended up in the hospital for about a week. She had an abscess in her neck caused by an infection but recovered 100% with no more chance of reoccurrence then any other healthy child. I never could get back into exercising that much again but the weight stayed off.
I've also gone back to school and gone back to work part time (although that may change again in the near future). We decided we didn't want to wait too long to have our 3rd child so we started trying to conceive last spring and first try out (1st with my daughter, 2nd try with my son) we were pregnant. It was supposed to be the compromise between 2 and 4 children. I wanted 4 my husband wanted 2. Well I guess I get my way because we just found out yesterday I'm having TWINS! Completely natural, and we're pretty sure its fraternal but we're excited, scared, nervous and every other emotion you can think of X2 with a normal pregnancy. I'm due January 18th but figuring the babies will come earlier. I've see the ultrasound and heard and seen 2 strong heartbeats so we're hoping it continues that way. Its still early so I'm hoping and praying things go smoothly from here on out.
My twins were born on Nov 14th at 31 weeks. They are in the NICU now, but are doing so well and our hope is that they can come home so soon!! I am glad to hear that your twins are still exactly where they need to be. Good luck with everything :)

I just noticed your comment on my baby page. I thought you might have been on that board with me as well. Glad we get to be on another board together and congrats on twins. My moms a twin and I was secretly hoping I'd have a set but nope only one lol
