I got my first positive at either 3 weeks 1 day or 3 weeks 2 days, depending on which day I actually ovulated. For some reason I had a surprise and O'ed early this cycle! Anyway, the day before my positive I had a definite negative. The next day was the faintest positive. The following day was a faint but definite line. I would think you could see something in another day or two. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Sora Nina arrived at 3:39pm on Thanksgiving Day weighing 7lb 6oz and 19-1/2 in long! She's so amazing, I couldn't be more in love! Will share photos soon! I hope everything is great with you!

I'm trying, I'm trying! I took a long walk outside with my husband this morning, hills included. We went shopping and walked around some more. I've been eating spicy food. I feel so great and energized today, I hope that's a sign the baby is coming soon! I'm going to bounce on my exercise ball and do some other stuff all day to get things moving. :) I LOVE your new pictures! You look so beautiful! I'm so happy for you, I can't wait to hear how your birth goes tomorrow. You're about to be a mommy!!! I'd love to get together with our daughters. We should totally do it while on maternity leave! Thanks for note. Yeah, I'm enjoying this stage too. My little one is also super wiggly all the time. I can no longer paint my toenails and it is hard to pick up whatever I have recently dropped on the floor, but that is the worst of it. I am having a girl too, it's my 2nd and I am so excited!! Congrats on your girl. Girls Rule!

Have you thought about getting professional pregnancy photos taken? I keep seeing all of these super cute and creative photos that women are getting and it's making me want some too! Especially before I get massively large in size and no longer want to see myself in photos... LOL~

Thanks! I felt the same way as you. I swear when I first started feeling the baby move at 16 weeks, she was moving quite a bit. Then it seemed like the movement died down between 17 and 19 weeks. I told my husband all the time that it was making me worry that something was wrong, and I was feeling more and more disconnected, etc... But then this weekend (right before hitting 20 weeks) she started moving a ton more all of a sudden! I'm sure yours will start picking up the pace shortly too. :) I can't stop looking at the u/s pics. It is really like I have this heightened love for my baby now. I'm excited for you to experience that too!
I love the name Sonya too! Sora means "sky" in Japanese and "chirping songbird" in Native American. My husband is part Japanese, doesn't really look it, but it's the part of his heritage he's closest to so we just fell in love with the name Sora. And I have a thing for birds..... so it just fit!

We're having a girl!!! The 20-week ultrasound was the most amazing experience... I could've sat watching the screen for days. I didn't want to leave! Baby looks healthy and measurements were great. Couldn't be happier! I feel so much more connected now. :) I'm excited to hear how your upcoming u/s goes!

I've never been to the Menasha or Shawano areas. My brother goes to UWM right now. :) My husband and I live in Brookfield. We didn't grow up here, though. I'm originally from Racine.
I've been sneezing a lot tonight and I think I woke up baby in my belly. I just felt the most rapid and distinctive kicks to-date! Wow. He/she was NOT liking me sneezing. LOL

Thanks for the compliment. :) Your 16-week photo looks great! You've got a cute bump starting! I started showing early around 12 or 13 weeks. In my photo, though, I think the maternity shirt makes the baby bump look more distinctive than my other clothes. I can't believe for the first time in my life I love belly-hugging shirts! Hah. Have you started feeling movement yet? I started feeling it at 16 weeks. According to my midwife, that means the baby might be ready earlier at 38 weeks!
Oh I meant to ask, where in Wisconsin are you? I'm right outside Milwaukee!

I really really want to say something since it's my first Mother's Day. I am DYING to say something, but I really want to wait until Tuesday/ Wednesday. It'll be the first day of my last week in the first trimester so as long as everything looks okay then I will tell everyone. I'm just really terrified that I will get there and the baby will still be measuring at 8 weeks.
I'm so paranoid :)
