I had to go in for induction on January 24th because baby was kicking much less and his amniotic fluid level dropped. So I went in and cervidel was placed at about 8 pm. I was also given ambien 10mg - slept like a baby! At 5 am on 1/25, I started having strong contractions lasting 5 min apart. Cervidel was removed at about 6:30 and I was 100% but dilated 2cm. I was still having contractions. Pitocin was started at 8am and that's when the contractions just blew me away! I thought my whole pelvic area was going to fall off. I was doing ok, with my hubby by my side. Stadol is like a miracle drug I tell ya. At 10am though, that's when the problems started. I was having contractions, but the baby's heart rate would occasionally go into the 120s with them. Then, my water broke - brown. I knew what that meant and just started crying because I still was only 2.5 cm dialted, and I knew at that point that I was headed for a section. It was determined that it was meconium - thick. I thought to myself - why? but a c-section was the for the best. At 11:35am, my precious beautiful adorable baby boy was born! Life has definitely begun. Dad is sooo awed. He is my Handsome prince. I OWE EVERYTHING to Jesus - my Lord and Savior. I have been blessed with my little superstar!
I miss u and Mikey,,, hopefully I make it back up to the East Coast this Summer so we can see you!

I love the picture of your Little man on the motorcycle!! So cute. Was that a prop or did you get him that? If it is a prop where ever did you go? I would love a picture of little Hailey on one of those. My DH and collect little wooden motorcycles just like that but of course smaller.
Great pictures!! What a cutie!
