My little angel was born 5 weeks early, at 7lbs 5 oz, on October 17, 2010 via C-section, after I spent 3 days in the hospital with preclampsia and HELPPS syndrome. I was also a gestational diabetic. (I think my body knew what was happening, so was trying to give him some Miracle Grow)
I went from 222lbs pre-pregnancy up to 260 when admitted to the hospital. By 4 months post-partum, I weighed 206lbs, but that weight-loss didn't last. I am working on that.
We breastfed until 17 months, almost exclusively for the first six. For Eric's first 3 months I exclusively pumped, until he was able to start nursing himself. He insisted on co-sleeping even though we did not initially intend to, but now that he's older, he sleeps by himself.

My name is Amber, I live in Georgia with my husband, our son, and our menagerie of furbabies.
We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Our cats are Kali (calico, female) and Garfield (orange tabby, male). Our dogs are Oreo (Siberian Husky, female) and Ella (black lab mix, female).

I love old 80's cartoons and movies. My favorite hobby is reading sci-fi and fantasy novels. Also like to play old video games with hubby (Atari and Sega Genesis, lol)
HI thanks for thinking of me, I am sorry to hear about you losing a baby last year! I just saw that you had commented on my page and didnt know you had till now. Thanks for thinking of me....unfortunately I do not have any little ones yet! and not preg yet either but we are going to TTC next month...we only have two nights for it to happen and hopefully SMEP - It will be our last oppourtunity since DH has been in a nursing home (severe- conciderably worsened- brain injury and physical disability) since July. Obvikously there is a lack of privacy LOL so I am getting him out for 2 nights 3 days next month and I am going to try to put up an ovulation/ tww ticker on here I have one on the yahoo baby site if you want to check it out. My next O date is Wed Feb 13 and we are going to be BDing the 9th and 10th at the end of each day. I hope you are trying again! Talk soon, Vita
