Newfit- I'm sure your SIL understood that you only had everyone's best interest at heart!

Sometimes I'm tempted to ask total strangers if they want me to take their children! It's usually at the grocery store, when I see those folks that seem to do nothing but scream at their kids, and the kids are half-dressed in the dead of winter and maybe there's snot all over their faces. I know every parent has an "off" day, but there are those out there that you can tell just resent having children. I just want to say to them, "Hey! I'll take care of them! Some of us are DYING to have jids!" (That, of course, is NOT to say that your nephew or his girlfriend would be like those people!!!)

Of course, I always stop myself before I actually approach these people- no reason to get arrested or earn the reputation of "that creepy, aging, childless woman." :D

Feydruss...I'm sorry about your update!!! I'm proud of your spirit!!!

My 19 year old nephew got his girlfriend pregnant...they live in a different state...so, I"m not getting all the details of what is taking place...but, I called my sister-in-law...inserting foot in mouth--I
told her we would adopt the baby! It came out with excitement...but not any consideration to their situation...I felt badly...and wrote her email apologizing...

I can tell my desire for family is still strong...

Welcome, Shaila and Tucker!

*Sigh* BFN, and AF is here. Sad month, but made a little better by your support! Thank you for asking! On the up-side, I got to have a cup of coffee this morning! :)

The truth is, I was pretty down yesterday and today, but I'm trying to stay positive. I O'd this month, which was a HUGE step for my body! My Dr said that, since I didn't O until day 21 we'll have to up my Clomid dosage to 150 mg, so I'm more hopeful for next time around.

DH and I have decided, for personal reasons, to actively try NOT to conceive until the end of February, so I'm just going to take this month to drink coffee and wine (but not too much!) and try to lose a little weight. Since starting to TTC I've put on about 10 pounds, just trying to get all my nutrients, etc. I'm still at a healthy BMI, but my clothes are getting tight, and I'm just not as comfortable with my body as I used to be. I think I'll take the next 30 days to work out like a fiend and reclaim my body for a little while before I have to share it. ;)

Shaila and Tucker...welcome to this board. This board is awesome, most of us hv been using this board for years. All of them are very helpful even though we are not doctor but through our experience we share everything.

Shaila... I know it is hard sometimes. Me, have no luck while taking clomid. Hopefully clomid works better with you. Is your cycle is irregular/long cycle? I have long cycle before taking clomid but it is regular between 35 - 40 days. It is getting shorter sometimes between 30 - 35 days with clomid but I nvr conceived.

Ricadee... I am so anxious waiting for your result!!!

I hold my IVF because I have no confidence about it. Meanwhile I keep doing my acupuncture and start exercise everyday... Never thought in my mind that I will get BFP this month, I really pray that this is my first pregnancy and a keeper.

Shoot Feydruss! I was hoping for you..

Ricadee - any news? I swear some months I thought I was and the month I was, I was positive I was not. It's hard to tell and easy to trick yourself. The most positive sign I had was a bit of vertigo upon implantation. I'm not sure I would have noticed if I hadn't been driving on an interstate late at night.

I'm so sorry, Feydruss! :( You'll get there! Hang in there! Next time is your time!

I've been getting BFNs, too, but the actual first day of my missed period isn't until Wednesday, so I'm still holding out hope. Yesterday I noticed I was very sleepy, even though I had plenty of sleep the night before. We went to visit my in-laws, and I fell asleep on their couch, which just NEVER happens- I normally CAN'T sleep in front of other people! Then I slept for about nine hours last night- also never happens.

My whole breasts are sore now- not just the nipples. I also noticed weird little bumps on my areolas, which I know can be a sign. I asked my DH about them, and he confirmed they were definitely new, so I'm not giving up yet!

Hi girls! BFN on this FET cycle.:( We're meeting with the RE in about a week to discuss how to proceed. I'm happy to jump right into another fresh cycle, but DH is talking about taking a break for a while... So we'll see!

Thanks for all the sticky vibes, girls! My beta is on Friday, but I probably won't find out the result until Monday. On the weekend I started to get very optimistic, but now I'm pretty negative. I'm expecting another BFN.

It's so frustrating. We seem to make great embies, but I have a Teflon uterus or something. :(

I'll post next week when I know for sure, okay?

I think the progesterone is what make the nipples hurt...some months more sensitive than others....It's fun to try to figure out symptoms in the two week wait!!!

Whooo-hooo!!! JFK-can't wait to see pics of your baby!!! It's getting closer!!! Good luck to everybody in their 2ww. I went to my OB for a regular check up--he pretty much said that I am probably not ovulating on my own. My cycles have been all over the place. So, if we want to ever start trying again-it would be medication!

My husband has mentioned adoption casually--I think that may be an option for us down the road...things are going great!!! I really have loved the changes we have made with the move. Life is much better!!!

BetsyMd-celebrated her daughter's 1st birthday---so, for those of you have waited so long for a child...let that be an inspiration to you!!!

Good luck!!!
Kelly
