"I love walking! I have always been a huge walker... Love it and thank Goodness because it is some of the only exercise I actually get since I have been pregges... I am not saying that's a good thing lol but I do walk for about 2-4 hours a day 5 times a week. I also love nice cooperative weather lol" -- ANGE_AHMED - 3/20/2011 10:53:27 AM
"Elliptical is a great form of exercise." -- SAMANTHABABYFIT - 8/23/2010 10:08:13 AM
"Is the Eliptical ok during pregnancy?" -- SRANDREWS2426 - 8/22/2010 6:03:37 AM
"I started walking from the beginning of my pregnancy, however I noticed
that in the past couple of weeks, I don't have the same stamina (28 weeks pregnant), so I slowed down on daily walks and some days I could only walk 5 min tops. I noticed that on days when I'm to tired to
do anything walking for 20 mins and deep breathing helped tremendously to feel energized, taking the first step and moving those feet when you are too tired to even get out of bed is the big challenge." -- EVELYNQ - 2/22/2010 1:13:27 PM
"I am a fitness trainer so I was used to training really hard, but I learned VERY quickly that I had to decrease my workout exertion by about 70% after I became pregnant. This was very difficult for me but my baby's well-being is what is important.
I walk about 4 days a week (jog on the good days) and do very light weight training/toning a couple of days to keep my muscles strong. I know this will "curb my appetite" until I am able to begin a new workout regimen post-baby. I have heard from other women and doctors that this will also help make my delivery and recovery a bit easier!" -- LVICK0516 - 9/14/2009 4:37:38 PM
"I started out doing Leslie Sansone's 2-mile interval workout every other day. I've been able to work up to her 4-mile Super Express workout. Since my 8th month of pregnancy I've consistently been doing the 4-mile walk every other day alternating with moderate weight lifting. I never get out of breath or overheated and I feel great and I'm sure it will help with my labor and delivery!" -- HAPPA_MAMMA - 9/3/2009 3:39:21 PM
"When during your pregnancy is it still ok to start exercising? I am 17 weeks along and have just gotten a hold of the morning sickness and fatigue, (not to mention I found out that I am seriously anemic).

"I'm going to start a walking program to keep myself in shape while I'm pregnant. I was doing good before I got pregnant but then I had horrible morning sickness for weeks and stopped working out. I need to start with something now that I'm feeling better. Walking is perfect." -- SO_LIVING - 4/2/2009 9:28:38 PM
"I love walking, I only started walking when i finished work with my first.. now that im not working, i have been walking 5-6 times a wk and feel great.. i have more energy the days I walk!" -- DEANNAMORRIS13 - 2/5/2009 6:13:55 AM
"I like this concept if you are walking outside. I also have a great pregnancy walking workout for the treadmill for those cold winter days when you want to workout inside." -- LYNNE69 - 1/30/2009 1:22:12 PM
"I am just going to be starting out as well!!!!" -- MEGANMUMMY3 - 1/21/2009 3:14:25 AM
