"I have the same issue when it comes to work I tend to like to keep my personal life personal and am bothered by everything changing to my belly than to the work at hand Beside my partner none of the others i work with interact with me outside of work and my partner it is only because our kids share the same interest in the same activities and there are a few who i do see outside of work but they no longer work with us so they don't count lol. At home i have no issue talking with friends and family when i am asked questions. But at work that's basically all anyone wants to talk about, I find it bothersome because they think because i am obviously pregnant now ,no hiding this bump no matter how hard i tried lol, they have the right to ask about my personal life when any other time they wouldn't. i found myself getting snappy the other day after about the 10th person asked me if i was expecting with twins and the onslough of questions came rolling in. I just said yes i am pregnant everyone knows and it's not the first time we have gone through this, my answers will be the same as pregnancy #2 and #3 just make them plural and it still applies. So lets get back to work and if anything comes up that concerns any of you i will make sure to send out a memo. and strangely i still get asked a few times a day. now that i am on nights i am to tired and grumpy to even respond i just turn around and go back to my work.lol i must be a pill to work with. I always find it odd i kinda expect it from women but as i work with all men now (the only other ladies i did work with just went off on mat leave) that i would hear it less but they seem more interested in my pregnancy than even my girl friends do. Oh well have to laugh at it somedays only a short while and things will get back to the way they always are. a little too short for my liking time is flying by way to fast. Must be because i am getting older." -- JACKIE2002 - 7/11/2012 6:18:53 PM
