Other than the caffeine aspect, why can't pregnant women eat chocolate? I hear women saying that they shouldn’t have it, but can I have a little every so often without harming the baby? |

A small piece of chocolate on occasion can easily fit into a healthy diet. However, a large box every day could be calorie trouble. There is some research saying that dark chocolate has antioxidants, but chocolate is NOT a health food. As long as you are meeting all your other nutrient requirements, it is OK to enjoy a Hershey’s miniature or 3 kisses on occasion.
