Before I was pregnant I could eat meat, especially chicken, all the time. Now that I am pregnant, just the thought of meat (especially chicken) makes me gag! I need another source of protein until I can eat meat again. Are there any good sources of protein besides peanut butter and cottage cheese? |

Low fat milk, cheeses, cottage cheese, yogurt, as well as foods made with these items are good protein sources. You can also try unsalted nuts like cashews or walnuts, sunflower seeds, tofu, chickpeas or garbanzo beans, lentils, eggs or egg whites.
