At what point do I need to increase my caloric intake by 300 or so calories per day? I don't feel any hungrier than normal now but I am only a few weeks pregnant.

Energy requirements are only slightly increased during the first trimester. The recommended daily allowance (RDA) for calories during the second and third trimesters is 300 additional calories or about a 15% increase over non-pregnancy requirements. This RDA presumes a moderate level of activity.
