'I've Formed A Lasting Bond with These Women'

BabyFit.com is honored to share some of the rich and warm expressions of friendship from the April 2006 Mommies.

Wendy (DIXIEPR): "I marvel at how much the April board has become a part of my life. I've never been one for chat rooms, and tend to be private. So I 'lurked for a long time, often finding the answers I was looking for without even posting. Then slowly, I started posting, and always received the advice that I was looking for. The April board is now part of my daily life. It's amazing to me that this group of strong women has grown so close. Women spanning the globe, from vastly different ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds, who are bound by the common thread of motherhood. I have laughed out loud with these women and cried inconsolably. They have become as real to me as the people I see in person every day, and I'm thankful for their advice and support. It's nice to know that on days you feel that everything is going wrong, that you can drop in and get the positive reinforcement that as a new mother you so desperately need."

RYLANS_MOMMY: "I don't know what I would have done without these women. Being a single mom, it's hard enough getting by day to day; without this extra support I would have gone out of my mind. I am lucky to know these intelligent women who understand exactly what I am going through raising a child. They are wonderful people, and I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet them outside of a chat room. Thanks to BabyFit as well!"
