Evansville, Indiana - Ranking Details

The #13 City for Healthy Pregnancies in 2005

Evansville, Indiana is the thirteenth healthiest city for pregnancy according to BabyFit.com’s list of Top 100 Cities for Healthy Pregnancies.

Evansville placed in the top ten for the category for “percentage of women in the optimal age range for a healthy pregnancy” and scored in the top 40 for two other healthy pregnancy indicators including the smallest percentage of women with pregnancy anemia and the smallest percentage of women with pregnancy related diabetes.

This is not the first time Evansville has been honored. Among its numerous honors, in 2005 Evansville was included on the list of the “100 Best Communities for Young People.” Evansville was also nominated in 2005 as one of the “Best Places to Live & Retire” in by CNN/Money.
